Famously low-profile couple, Delta Goodrem and her musician boyfriend Matthew Copley look to be going strong despite several rumours of relationship breakdowns over the past year.
The couple spent New Year’s Eve together at a gorgeous bohemian-style party with friends, both sharing the same image of themselves snuggling on a deck chair during a rare public display of affection.
The 34-year-old Voice Australia judge also shared an intimate video to her Instagram stories on Thursday, showing the pair and their friends in a sweet group singalong at the party, while Matthew strums guitar.
The clip, captioned: “Happy New Year, Love x” shows more affection as Delta laughs hysterically at Matthew’s choice of song, Kumbaya.

It was in January, 2018 that the world first learned of Delta and Matthew’s union, as reports of their Hawaiian holiday together began cropping up.
A friend reportedly revealed that Delta and musician Matthew Copley had been “quietly hanging out” and that “she’s very happy right now.”
Matthew plays guitar and is thought to have met Delta while on her Wings of the World Tour in October and November, 2017.
It was just a few months later in March that it looked like there was trouble in paradise for the happy pair.
Sources told Woman’s Day Matthew was a known party animal and ladies’ man, causing a crushed Delta to flee back to LA, with several TV insiders confirming the couple had split.
“Matthew’s been a gentleman to her, but after hearing stories about the way he used to act before he met her, she started to have doubts,” says a source.
Soon the pair were seen together again, and it wasn’t long before whispers suggested that the songstress was planning to marry Matthew in Maui, Hawaii on her 34th birthday.
Delta was quick to address the fabricated stories making the rounds, taking to Instagram to write:
“Hi friends, while you’re all planning what sounds like a really fun wedding for me, I’m busy making a new record.”
“But save some cake from this third fantasy wedding this year we have going.
“As I have said a million times, I will let you all know. I won’t leave you all out of that special day, one day.’
She concluded: “Made-up false invitations is really crossing the line I believe, but I’m off to jump in the vocal booth again.
“Look forward to sharing my life through song soon, love and music, Delta xx.”
