But could Kris Smith take the Bachelor role away from current front-runner and Bachelorette fan favourite, Apollo Jackson?
He is best mates with former Bachelorette star Sasha Mielczarek, after all.
The 39-year-old model spoke to Yahoo BE over the weekend and put to rest any rumours.
“No definitely not,” Kris told a reporter.
“I can squash that rumour right now, I won’t be The Bachelor,” he said, but added, “I appreciate all it stands for”.
Could romance be the reason he won’t consider the role?
Kriss has been linked to model Monika Clarke, but explains the pair are simply good friends.
It’s a shame because after his appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Australia is dying to know more about him.
Before his eviction, the then 38-year-old spoke candidly about the breakdown of his relationship with Dannii and walking out on their romance when his son Ethan was just a baby.
“It got to a point where it wasn’t working for anyone. We didn’t wanna get in silly bickering arguments in front of Ethan. So the hardest thing I’ve had to do was leave. [Ethan] was very young but I didn’t ever wanna see him in an environment where it’s a little bit bitter or argumentative.”
“All I ever wanted in life was to settle down with one woman and have kids with one woman. It absolutely ripped my heart out but it was for the best,” a teary Kris explained.
