On Sunday, the actor took to Instagram where he shared a snap of his new flame, announcing he was “dating a chick from the west”.
Dan, 31, posted a photo of Kat in her bikini, lounging in the sun with a card and pen in hand, captioning the shot, “You know you’re dating a chick from the west when she makes writing a Christmas card look Thug.”
Adding the hastags, “#easeupcuz #willstabyou”.
In under 24 hours, the post clocked in over 1600 likes with a barrage of fans pipping up about the new romance.

Reports emerged last week that Dan was dating the 25-year-old, after meeting her on the set of Home and Away.
The 31-year-old cemented his feelings by posting a sweet tribute to his new flame on Instagram.
“Big impact in a small amount of time. Proud of you @katristeska,” he penned alongside a screen shot of the brunette beauty.
Adding, “Hopefully ‘Zoe’ makes her way back to the Bay!”
Moved by his tribute, Kat regrammed his snap, gushing, “Thanks babe x.”
The dancer has Dan smitten.
Dan was previously married to ex-wife Marni Little for three-years.
The couple, who’ve “vowed to remain friends”, co-parent their little man, two-year-old Archer.
Talking to NewsCorp, Dan mused, “Nothing good comes from people bickering or being bitter, and we don’t do that. It’s about being the best parents we can be.”
