The shock split of TV power couple, Michelle Bridges and “Commando” Steve Willis may have taken a terrible toll on Michelle, but it looks as though her ex-hubby is moving onward, and upwards!
The Biggest Loser trainer shared a cryptic Instagram post this morning looking happier than ever.
“So many things to be grateful, joyous and happy for in this very moment,” he wrote.
While the Commando has been catching up with friends, such as fellow Survivor contestant Mat Rogers, and moving on since the split, ex partner Michelle has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The 49-year-old TV personality and trainer was charged with allegedly drink driving on Australia Day morning. Her four-year-old child, Axel, whom she shares with Commando Steve, was in the car at the time.
Following the charges, Michelle released a statement to The Daily Telegraph in which she expressed her “deep regret.”
The fitness star went on to share that she was “absolutely devastated and embarrassed” by her actions before explaining that the breakdown of her marriage from Steve had led her to a dark place.
“It has been a very difficult time for me the last few weeks dealing with the break-up of my long-term relationship. This is by no means an excuse for my behaviour but I feel the emotional turmoil I have been going through has impacted my decision making.”
