Chrissy Teigen says she and John Legend determined to pick up one very important life skill in order to pass on to their daughter Luna.
They’re learning to swim.
That’s right, the famous couple haven’t been able to swim their whole lives, but love for their new bundle of joy has spurred them on to learn.
“I was in the pool today,” Chrissy confessed to People magazine.
Chrissy’s fine when there are floaties about, but forget it if she has to swim solo!
“I can’t swim,” she continued. “But I’m trying to learn for Luna of course.
“There is nothing I want to do more than to get her into the water and for her to learn to swim,” the 30-year-old revealed.

And then she dropped the bombshell that husband John shares her inability to paddle in the water too!
“John can’t swim either,” the model explained of her 37-year-old husband. “And we don’t want to be helpless in any way.”
John Legend is determined to learn how to swim so he can teach little Luna a thing or two.
So love for their little girl is going to propel this pair into the water.
But Chrissy emphasises that their reluctance to get in the water has nothing to do with being afraid.
Chrissy ain’t afraid of no pool.
“I have no fear of water,” she confirms. “John has no fear of water. Or sharks or animals or what have you.
“We just didn’t have water in our face when we were growing up.”
Well they better learn fast, because Chrissy says she “absolutely” wants Luna to be an early swimmer.
