Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s dreamy Byron Bay holidays make us jealous every time they pop up on our news feeds.
Now the Hollywood couple have enjoyed yet another trip with their famous besties Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso and we want an invite stat.
On their most recent trip along the Aussie coastline, Chris and Elsa were accompanied by many friends including the Bourne Identity star and his family, who frequently visit Australia and their own property in Byron Bay.
The holiday was organised for the 40th birthday of a friend of Chris’, and the celebrated with what looked like to be around a dozen families coming together for some beach-side activities including a surf competition. You can’t get more Byron than that!
Thor star Chris shared a series of snaps from the trip on Instagram saying, “Another incredible trip along @australia’s coastline. Great, friends, great weather, nothin better !!”
Elsa shared a similar collection of photos captioning them, “Another fun trip with the best people and bunch of kids having the best time.”

This isn’t the first time the two families have holidayed together. For Elsa’s 42nd birthday last year, they visited San Sebastian, just off the North Coast of Spain, Elsa’s home country.
Earlier that year Chris, Elsa, Matt and Luciana also soaked up some culture at the Byron Bay Bluesfest and they clearly like each other as the Good Will Hunting star and his family have a house right next door to Chris and Elsa.
Despite their friendship, the main reason Matt moved the family from Hollywood to Australia is due to a certain US president.
According to a Page Six source, vocal environmental activist Matt is telling his American friends that they’re moving because of Donald Trump’s policies.
“He will travel to wherever his projects are shooting. He’s also telling friends he wants to have a safe place to raise his kids,” the source said.

The Hemsworth/Pataky clan have lived in the idyllic town of Byron Bay since 2014 having moved to escape the paparazzi – and suffice to say they fell in love with the outdoorsy lifestyle.
“I really wanted to be in a place where I’m out of reach to the media … and in Byron we just feel like locals,” Elsa told news.com.au in 2017.
“People really respect us … and it’s what I always dreamt of giving to my kids.”
The middle Hemsworth brother agrees and told Domain, “Living in Australia allows me to be away from a world where you can lose touch with reality sometimes.”
“I don’t want to be too negative about Hollywood because it’s given me so many extraordinary opportunities, but I’m much more at ease back home.”
