While thereโd be no shame in the singer taking a step back, instead weโre witnessing the metamorphosis of Celine.
And she has not a single thing to hide. In fact, the artist has bared all in a stunning nude photo shoot for Vogue.
Rocking nothing more than her birthday suit, the mother-of-three shared the lengths she goes to give her audiences a visually spectacular performance.
Sitting crossed-legged on a chair in a very Parisian apartment, the Instagram caption reads: โHereโs a little naked fact to ponder while Celine Dion changes looks between shows: for the past five years she has worn haute couture near exclusively for her own performances.โ
โShe performs a minimum two hours a night, five or six nights a week, dancing and curtsying and generally gesticulating sans abandon, in handmade, hand-beaded delicacies designed solely to walk a catwalk or a carpet (and often with handlers).โ
Celine, who is currently on tour in Europe, told the fashion bible: โWe have to make haute couture industrial. The clothes follow me; I do not follow the clothes.โ

The songbird then reveals one of her favourite personal outfits.
โYears ago, Celine bought a classic little black dress from the Christian Dior atelier when the house was overseen by John Galliano.โ
โIt is simple, falling to mid calf, and narrow as can be with just a hint of stretch. It requires a minimum of jewelry, a statement bracelet or perhaps one of the major diamond rings she designed with her late husband Rene Angelil: two pear cuts set in a wide pave band, or two hearts of diamond and emerald abstractly interlocking, on a cushion of yet more diamonds.โ
Explaining why it is so important, โThis LBD forces you to walk one foot in front of the other. This is a dress Celine knows well and clearly loves, the simplest evocation of the private luxury of couture and the total antithesis of the red carpet hoopla that attends the union of fashion and celebrity.โ
โIt is also the dress she wore to Reneโs funeral.โ
The singer is touring Europe.
Her son Rene-Charles has been by her side.
Last January, Celine Dion lost her soulmate, Renรฉ Angรฉlil, who succumbed to his battle with throat cancer.
Just days later she lost her brother to the same disease.Yet the Grammy award-winning songstress wants to live life to the fullest.
And fashion has been an outlet for her.
Celine explained to the glossy that she teamed up with stylist Law Roach a little over a year ago, and โbegan the long road of living again with great loss of an amazing partner.โ
In her true glass half-full self, she mused that life was still an โincredible blessing of the quality of the time we spent together.โ
As for Rene, heโs in her every breath.
She recently mused, โI donโt have my husband next to me, but heโs within me, so nothing has really changed.โ
โI see him through the eyes of my children every day. My husband is everywhere.โ
