Thankfully it’s not just us mere mortals suffering heartbreaking splits – celebrities both in Australia and overseas have had their hearts handed to them on a plate throughout the year.
While some petered out with barely a fizzle, others imploded spectacularly and others made us believe that love is well and truly dead.

In late December 2019, it was revealed the Magic Mike star and the British singer had parted ways after dating for just over a year.
“Channing and Jessie broke up about a month ago,” a source told US Weekly. “They are still really close and still good friends.”
The pair were first linked in October 2018, months after Channing split from his ex-wife and mother of his child, Jenna Dewan.
Jenna has moved on with her own man, actor and singer Steve Kazee, and the couple are currently expecting their first child together.
