The Project host took to her Instagram account on Thursday morning to share some exciting news with her following, and after the tumultuous few months weโ€™ve all had, itโ€™s given us plenty to smile about, to put it simply.

The mum-of-three shared a candid video of herself to announce the positive news to her following, telling them: โ€œI am so relived to be able to bring you the news that weโ€™ve found a way to bring your our 2020 beanie campaign.โ€

She continued: โ€œMid July, weโ€™ll be able to get them on your beautiful heads. It is such a relief, Coronavirus certainly threw us a whole bunch of curveballsโ€ฆ But weโ€™ve found a way to bring them to you.โ€

In April, the television personality shared a heartbreaking update that her 2020 campaign was forced to be put on hold as the restrictions in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for it to continue.

โ€œWe are so bummed, weโ€™ve been working so hard and have hundreds of thousands of beanies waiting get on your beautiful heads,โ€ she told her following on social media.

โ€œBut unfortunately corona has thrown up too many challenges at this point.โ€

Now, it looks like the host has tackled the challenges against the odds to bring the campaign back to life โ€“ and itโ€™s easy to understand why it was so important.

Funds raised from the beanies have made a lasting impact on research for Brain Cancer.

The 39-year-old told her following on Thursday: โ€œSurvival rates havenโ€™t changed in 30 years and that statistic wonโ€™t change unless more research is done and that is where you come in.โ€

Carrieโ€™s beanies have raised over $12 million that has gone towards more research since its launch in 2015 โ€“ which highlighted why 2020s campaign was all the more important.

As winter approaches, beanies are a common wardrobe staple โ€“ and what better way to invest than by picking one of Carrieโ€™s creations that will also serve an additional, potentially ground breaking purpose?

Fans were thrilled with the news that Carrieโ€™s campaign was going ahead.

Even fellow Aussie comedian Dave Hughes was excited about the update, commenting on Carrieโ€™s video: โ€œThe coolest beanies for the coldest months. Hot news.โ€

Another fan wrote: โ€œAh this is such good news! I cannot wait to see this yearโ€™s design!โ€

Launching it at the TVWEEK Logie Awards, the starlet said she wanted to โ€œSay or do something that represents Greg and he used to wear beanies all the time in Melbourne.โ€

Her initiative was born โ€“ and while itโ€™s had its fair share of challenges, thereโ€™s no denying Bickmoreโ€™s drive and dedication has proved its major success. โ€˜
