That’s exactly what The Project host Carrie Bickmore is feeling right now, just a month after giving birth to her third child in December, an adorable baby girl called Adelaide.

It’s Carrie’s second child with partner Chris Walker, joining her two older children Oliver, 10, who she had with her late husband Greg Lange, and her first daughter with Chris, three-year-old Evie.

In between Googling “what is reflux at 3am”, surviving on “four hours broken sleep”, a “trip back to hospital with mastitis” and “eating meals with one hand”, Carrie says she’s also felt a huge amount of love and joy.

She’s experienced “tears of happiness, tears of exhaustion”, “cuddles”, “hours spent staring at Adelaide”, “feeling overwhelmed”, “feeling like it’s all going to be OK” and “bursting with love and gratitude”.
