Holidays are for sleeping in, but when you have two kids under 10 like Project host Carrie Bickmore does, those early morning wake-up calls come with the territory of being a parent.
So, in order to get her kids to stay their beds a little longer in the morning while she’s currently having a break from work for a few weeks, Carrie headed into the kitchen and grabbed the alfoil, using it to block out the sun from her kids’ bedroom windows.
Unfortunately, the roll ran out before she could finish her creative project.
“The lengths you go to as a parent (or maybe just me) to make your kids room dark when on holidays! Alfoil on the windows (unfortunately I ran out on the last window so we still had 5am wake ups!) I could have just gone to the shops and got more but I was in holiday mode and couldn’t be bothered!!!! 😭 #notadruglab” she captioned the hilarious pic.
Looks like Carrie will just have to put up with Oliver, 9, and Evie, 1, being her daily alarm clock, but when you’re kids are this cute we’re sure she can cope.
