Brynne Edelsten — socialite, television personality and the former wife of medical entrepreneur Geoffrey Edelsten — has ended her three-month engagement to comedian Brett Hunter.
And it looks as if she’s already moved on!
In pictures published by The Daily Mail, the 34-year-old is seen cosying up to a woman reportedly named Coby Boatman while dining at an up-market Melbourne restaurant.
The duo were snapped locking lips, feeding one another and, later in the evening, strolling the streets with interlocked hands.
Speaking with the KIIS Network’s Hughesy & Kate radio show on Thursday, Brett opened up about the unexpected romance.
“It was a bit of a shock,” the funnyman said, before revealing that he wasn’t actually aware that she “liked girls.”
“It’s all new to me,” he continued. “I really liked her, she’s a good chick and I don’t want to say anything bad about her.”
Heartbreakingly, the 33-year-old added that he wasn’t aware their relationship was officially done and dusted until seeing the explosive paparazzi shots.
According to an anonymous source, the reality television star and her 25-year-old lover have known each other for quite some time — but they only recently began to think of embarking upon a romantic relationship.
“She said she’s never been in a same sex relationship before,” the source told The Daily Mail.
Apparently, the new couple are also planning to take their relationship to the next level by moving in together.
“They’ve been inspecting apartments and by this weekend the’ll be moving in together,” the source said.
