Bachelor in Paradise contestants flew out last week to kick off four weeks of filming, and sources say the result won’t be short of fireworks!

In fact, despite Blake Coleman being investigated by police in relation to claims he threatened to sell nude photos of ex Bachelor star Jen Hawke, we’re told both have signed up for the show.

“The producers didn’t care about Blake’s brushes with the law, they just thought it would make the series all the more explosive – and they’d already signed up both Jen and Blake before she made the allegations against him,” our source says.

“He makes me really happy and makes me laugh,” Jen told us of Blake before their romance took a dark turn.

What’s even more concerning is the fact Blake’s past assault charges have recently come to light, too.

Blake’s victim Tristan Cooper told Perth Now he thought he’d never walk again after the reality TV star attacked him and left him on the street in August 2015.

“I was lying there looking up at this group of people staring down at me and I was thinking, ‘Well, this is it’,” Tristan told Perth Now last month of the horrifying incident.

Blake pleaded guilty to the assault and was ordered to pay Tristan $850 for the ambulance call-out fee but the victim says that money never materialised.

Blake is still set to appear on Bachelor in Paradise despite his worrying past convictions.

As the troubling report surfaced, Blake released a statement via Channel 10 which said: “I am truly remorseful and accepted full responsibility for my actions.”

On top of Blake and Jen, our insider says despite rumours Tara Pavlovic is set to be the next Bachelorette, she’s also on board for the series, which is expected to air in April.

Meanwhile badboy Bachelorette star Rhys Chilton will be joined on the show by Michael Turnbull, Jake Ellis, Florence Alexandra, Keira Maguire, as well as this season’s Bachelorette stars Brett Moore, Mack Reid and Sam Cochrane, as well as a slew of “controversial intruders.”

“Every series of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will be represented,” our insider confirms.

It’s shaping up to be an interesting series! We can’t imagine how down-to-earth Tara Pavlovic will get on with villain Rhys Chilton.

Could Keira Maguire find love with Michael Turnbull?
