Life with a newborn is full of milestones from the moment a mother finds out she is expecting.
Even activities that once were a normal part of everyday life become one big adventure that deserves to be documented.
Bindi Irwin, 22, and her husband Chandler Powell, 24, have celebrated their first time venturing out of their newborn baby bubble to enjoy their first family dinner.
The luminous snap of the family standing in the middle of a lavish tropical jungle with fairy lights hanging above them was taken by none other than Bindi’s talented brother, Robert Irwin.
The young mumma captioned the love-filled picture with the humble caption, “First family dinner adventure with our sweet girl. I’m a proud mama. ✨”
The couple’s clearly beaming smiles speak for themselves as they crowd over their daughter’s pram.
It has been a week full of milestones for Bindi, who celebrated her first Mother’s Day last week.
She posted a sweet message on her Instagram reflecting on her new role as a mother, explaining: “To my beautiful daughter, always know that you are loved beyond description.”
Of course, her doting husband, Chandler, penned a moving tribute in honour of his wife on her first Mother’s Day.
He wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing wife❤️ This is your first Mother’s Day yet it feels like you’ve been doing this forever. Grace and I are both lucky and grateful to have you in our lives. We love you so much.”
Baby Grace entered the world on March 25, which was coincidentally her parents first wedding anniversary, which undoubtedly made the day even more special.
Sources close to the couple revealed that Bindi was “so struck” that Grace clearly has Steve’s nose.
“It really is perfect,” says a source. “Not a day goes by when Bindi wonders what life would have been like if her beloved dad was still with her.”
The Irwin family is very supportive of each other, and it’s clear that the clan have been brought even closer by Grace’s birth.
