Betty White, 94, is showing no signs of slowing down – and we love her for it! However she’s revealed she finds it just as hard to navigate the world of modern dating as the rest of us.
When the Golden Girls actress spoke with Today’s Al Roker, Betty says she thinks her age is deterring men away. “Nobody asks me!” she says to Roker.
“Who’s gonna want to ask out a 94-year-old woman? It just doesn’t happen.”
When Roker says perhaps maybe another 94-year-old would ask White out, she replies without missing a beat: “Oh, how old are you?”
Betty has been married three times but she lost her third husband Allen Ludden to cancer in 1981.
When it comes to dishing out love advice, Betty definitely seems to have it all figured out. She says the key is kindness:
“I think that you don’t say the hurtful thing even if you’re irritated or upset, because that sticks around, or that just chips off a little of the other guy’s self-esteem,” she says, before adding: men are “kind of a hobby of mine.”
Never change, Betty!
