The Bondi Vet, who was last linked to Channel 9 producer Kendall Bora, admitted that he was still looking for love when probed by the show’s regulars (and favourites) Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang.

During a conversation in which Ed decided Dr Chris would be the perfect cult leader, he teased: “You’ve got the looks, you’ve got the charm, you’ve got that big house with no one in it …”

Dr Chris Brown waves off talks about being the next Bachelor on Network Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention.

“Considering I’m 40, still single and no children, I’m off to a fairly slow start,” he said.

“Why are you single?” Sam probed.

“Sam, it’s a very good question,” Dr Chris said. “I mean, it’s almost like there’s someone out there who has a way of denting my confidence.”

While he was referring to Sam and their epic banter battle during his stint as guest-host on HYBPA, hearts were all-a-flutter and awwww …!

The guest panellists wanted to see what Dr Chris would look like in front of the Bachelor promo.

Celia Paquola then asked the question of the night: “Would you do the Bachelor? They must have asked you to do it …”

“Let’s not start that,” Dr Chris said … But Dr Chris, yes, let’s actually start that.

We mean, have you seen him in a tux?

You’re welcome, Australia.

“No I wouldn’t, I really wouldn’t,” he responded to the question.

Chris had kept very mum about his relationship breakdown with the producer and it was the same for when they were in a relationship.

In an interview with TV Week back in February, the 40-year-old said: “I guess I am fairly private and I have always been that way … I’ve never really spoken about relationships a whole lot; I’ve always kept that to myself.”

“Some people shout it from the rooftops and put it all over social media and that’s fine, each to their own, I’ve just never been someone to do that — but she’s good.”

Dr Chris was rumoured to be engaged to Kendall Bora, a channel 9 producer.

Hmmm … well if he’s a private person, meeting his next lady love on a reality TV show may not be the place for him after all.

So where does that leave us? BRB, moving to Bondi.
