Channel Nine presenter Erin Molan just shared some VERY exciting news live on-air…she’s engaged to her long-time partner Sean Ogilvy!
The much-speculated announcement, made during Thursday’s episode of The Footy Show, was met with cheers from the show’s studio audience, surprise confetti cannons and a large arrangement of white roses mixed with foliage.
“It was really, really lovely, I’m the luckiest girl on the world,” she said.
“It happened last Sunday morning and it was really special and I’m just really excited that now I can just let myself go,” she joked with her fellow hosts, before adding: “I don’t have to try anymore, I’m not shaving my legs.”
Erin, who has been in a relationship with policeman Sean for more than a year, admitted that planning for their “small” and “intimate” family-focused wedding is already underway.
“I had checked out some venues about three hours after he proposed, and about six months before he proposed I booked in some things,” she said.

Erin has since taken to her Instagram page to share a glimpse of her stunning engagement ring – a split shank design, which features a whopping oval-cut centre stone encircled with a halo of smaller diamonds.
She captioned the image: “Last week the love of my life pre-wifed me… I can finally let myself go 😜 Couldn’t be happier. Luckiest girl in the world xxx”
Side note…We’re loving the expression “pre-wifed!”
Erin and Sean were first spotted as an item in March last year at a Golden Slipper event at Rosehill Gardens.
The couple’s joyous news comes just one month after Erin sparked engagement chatter by wearing a pearl ring on that all-important-finger while hosting The Footy Show.
“I know I said I’d accept a burger ring from Sean because my standards are low and I am desperate, but I would not accept a costume ring,” the blonde-beauty told 2GB at the time.
She added: “I am definitely not engaged.”
What a difference a month makes… congratulations to the happy couple!
