Little did Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis know that they were meant to be!
The pair were cast alongside each other to star as one of our favourite TV romances on That 70’s Show… but apparently it wasn’t love at first sight.
Ashton recalled on The Howard Stern Show that when he first kissed Mila while filming, it was ridiculously awkward.
“It was really weird. I was like, ‘Isn’t this illegal?’ I don’t know, and it was really awkward, because I’m like a 19-year-old kid,” he revealed. “She was 14! She was like my little sister.”
Sibling love no more, fast forward to today and the couple are happily married and have two kids, Wyatt and Dimitri together. Aww!

1998
Ashton and Mila were cast alongside each other in That 70’s Show – he was 20 and she was just 14 at the time! But they became fast friends, and he even helped Mila out with school work. “I did her chemistry homework for her,” he revealed on The Howard Stern Show.

Early 2000’s
Adorably, Ashton and Mila shared their first kiss on screen. “I think I was her first kiss… We have our first kiss memorialised on a TV show!” he revealed. So sweet!
And turns out, Mila thought Ashton was pretty cute. In a 2001 interview with PEOPLE she recalled the incident, “I was like, ‘Oh, he’s so cute; it’s the Calvin Klein model!’ Then I was like, ‘I have to kiss him?’ I was so nervous and uncomfortable. I had the biggest crush on him.”

2002
Outside of the show Mila started dating Macaulay Culkin when he was at the height of his fame, thanks to films like Home Alone.
“He was huge. You couldn’t walk down the street with him,” Mila admitted to Howard Stern back in 2016.
“You find a steady rock in your life and that’s all you need. We have our ups and downs, but work through them,” she told Women’s Health Magazine of their relationship back in 2009. The pair kept their romance private but eventually called it quits in 2011 after eight years of dating.

Meanwhile, Ashton began dating Demi Moore after meeting at a dinner in New York. The smitten couple tied the knot two years later in a private ceremony surrounded by friends and family.
But in 2010 there was trouble in paradise. They were dogged by rumours that Ashton had several affairs. Uh-oh!
In November 2011, the pair called it quits. “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton,” Demi said in statement from her publicist to ABCNews.com.
“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi,” Ashton responded on Twitter. “Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”

It didn’t take long before romance rumours between Ashton and Mila began to swirl. Mila later recounted the night the friendship turned romantic on the Howard Stern Show.
She said they ran into each other at an awards show and it was magical, explaining, “He just turns around and it was literally like if we were in a movie, the music would start playing and the violins would go.”

The pair reunited onscreen! Mila guest starred in Two And A Half Men and the couple still sizzle on screen. “I bet you only date hot actresses,” she joked on the show.
“God no, I’d never date an actress,” he replied in character. “They’re all crazy.”

The pair welcomed their first child together, a little girl they named Wyatt.
Proud dad, Ashton later gushed over Mila’s parenting skills on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016. “She’s the greatest mum. Like, I go to work every day and I come home and she’s just perfect and it seems like everything went amazing [with the baby].”

They married in a super-private ceremony on the 4th of July, which came as a surprise to the couple themselves as they never thought they’d tie the knot.
“We started dating with the idea we were both never going to get married,” Mila revealed “A year later we were like, ‘Tomorrow let’s [get married].’”
It wasn’t easy keeping the wedding on the down low. Ashton admitted on Ellen that “it was a ninja effort. We really didn’t want helicopters at our wedding and it’s a legitimate concern.”
“I was like posting things on social media that were in different locations to avoid that, because we didn’t want to be screaming our vows at each other.” Sneaky!

The pair welcomed their second baby, a son Dimitri. And it seems that Wyatt loves her new baby brother.
“Wyatt thinks the baby is her baby, and at some point I’m going to have to explain to her it’s not really her baby. I don’t know how I’m going to do that. She loves the baby so much,” the proud dad shared on Ellen.
“She loves this baby – maybe more than me,” he added. “It’s, like, borderline.”
