Between takes on her new film Wonder, Julia was inconsolable, leaving her co-star Owen Wilson and crew members bewildered.
The Oscar winner is renowned for taking her work seriously, so it’s unlikely she’d break down unless she was incredibly distressed.
Now, it has been revealed that the 48-year-old and her husband Danny Moder are reportedly days away from a split.
Just weeks ago, the couple took off to Hawaii with high hopes that on the family holiday they’d be making happy memories.
Divorce rumours have persisted for the pair, but by all accounts the holiday started off well, with Julia, 48, Danny, 47, and their three children – twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, 11, and son Henry, nine – even spending time with Danny’s extended family.
“Everything seemed to be perfect,” an insider says. But reality soon set in.
Sources close to the couple predicted it was only a matter of time before the romantic walks along the beach and family shopping trips turned to fights and bickering – and they did.

If they do split, Danny will be entitled to half of Julia’s fortune, estimated at around $330 million.
