They might be counting down to impending parenthood but that hasnโt stopped George and Amal Clooney, who are expecting twins together, from celebrating a pretty big milestone.
Over the weekend, the human rights lawyer rounded up the actorโs nearest and dearest as he rung in the big 5-6 on May 6 with a surprise party at their London home.
According to E! News their besties Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber flew in from LA to help Amal prepare for the event.
โAmal set it all up, and Rande and Cindy surprised George when he got home Saturday,โ an insider told the website.

Going all out for her hubby, Amal managed to pull off the ultimate surprise party.
Before revealing that when the birthday boy arrived in his driveway, Rande โcame from around the bushes driving Georgeโs lawnmower and pulled up beside Georgeโs car while Cindy was nearby in the garden cutting fresh flowers.โ
Going all out for her husband, the pregnant beauty ordered a bespoke cake which paid homage to his Casamigos Tequila brand.
The hilarious creation shows George and his business partner Rande in figurine form enjoying their tequila.
โCelebrating our Birthdays @casamigos style. Thanks for the cool cake Amal. #houseoffriends,โ Rande, who turned 55 at the end of April, penned alongside the snapshot.
Supermodel Cindy also shared a shot from the birthday festivities showing her and Rande cuddling up on a boat on the Thames while George rears his mug into the shot.
โWe can always count on him for the photobomb,โ she joked.
โAmal had everyone come for dinner and to drink Casamigos. She also had this great cake made replicating the Casamigos Tequila bars from their houses in Mexico,โ the pal explained to E! News.
โGeorge had the best time celebrating his birthday with his best friends, and he was genuinely surprised. Rande and Cindy are proud they were able to keep the secret!โ
No doubt itโs a good chance for the couple to catch up with their mates before they welcome their babies next month.
Speaking of becoming a dad, the former bachelor told E! in March it was the ultimate blessing.
โI didnโt know that weโd have kids. I was very happy that we were going to get married and then [a pregnancy] seemed like the next step.โ
โIโve had friends pick out names around their parents and then it becomesโฆ Whatever name you pick theyโre like, โOh, I donโt like that. That guyโs a prime ministerโฆCanโt name her Susan. You remember your Aunt Susan?'โ
Whatever names they pick, thereโs no doubt a world with mini Georges and Amals (squared!) is a good world indeed.
