The Duchess of Cambridge proved she’s not going to be outdone when she recently stepped out of her comfort zone on a royal engagement in North Wales, reports Hello.
Prince William and the Duchess were visiting the Tower Outdoor Educational Centre in Snowdonia when the pair were offered the chance to take a turn.
The active couple both jumped at the chance and donned their safety gear eagerly.
Wills went first, shouting up to his wife “Are you holding me?” to which she replied “I’ve got you.”
Maybe he should have asked that first but luckily all went well and Kate revelled in the opportunity to take the ropes.
“I’m quite enjoying this actually. For once I’m in control.”
They royal duo didn’t stop at just descending with the pair of them scaling a 12 metre climbing wall post abseil.
“Not that we’re competitive but if he does that, then I’m having to do it too!” said Kate as she nimbly followed her husband up.
William and Kate were visiting the centre as it is run by Mountain Rescue England and Wales, of which William is a patron.
