It is common knowledge that the most important rule of being a Nanna is to spoil your grandkids royally, and Carole Middleton is no exception.

What do you get the kids that quite literally have everything – including multiple palaces and the world’s largest Kingdom – clothes, apparently.

Most Nanna’s gift their grandkids with a Minties from the lolly jar or, if you’re lucky, a couple of new t-shirts that were on special at Target – but when one of your grandchildren is a Princess and the other the future King of England, you’ve got to step it up a notch.

Duchess Catherine’s mum opted to head to the very fashionable Kings road in Chelsea to pick up a few cute outfits for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Middleton matriarch popped into kids wear store Trotter and emerged with a bag full of pricey goodies.

Although it’s not clear which of her grandkids she was buying for – the store boasts a whole range of very British outfits, including a Union Jack jumper called Little George, we are certain she found some items that got a royal tick of approval.

However, it’s unlikely that Carole bought a dress for Princess Charlotte, there a plenty of other options in the store, but for a pretty penny.

It wasn’t just all about the kids though, with the mum-of-three swinging by high-end footwear store Russell and Bromley – after all, a girls got to have a great pair of shoes.
