Royal support: Prince William, Duchess Catherine and Prince Harry attend the London Marathon

The royal trio looked like they had the best time cheering on runners. One cheeky competitor even sprayed Prince William with water!

We’d imagine you’d be grateful for all the support you can get while you’re running the London Marathon. But these runners got slightly more than they bargained for in the form of royalty!

Prince William, Prince Harry and Duchess Catherine attended the London Marathon 2017 to cheer on runners, sounding the klaxon that set some 40,000 entrants on their 26-mile journey.

They then handed out much-needed refreshments to the runners and cheered them on from the sidelines.

Runners couldn’t believe their eyes when the clocked the royal trio who also champion the marathon’s official charity, Heads Together.

We love how much fun they’re having!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a wonderful time goofing around pre-marathon!

The royal trio hit the klaxon to begin the 40,000-strong race.

Got your back! It was then time to head to the sidelines to cheer on the runners.

Prince Harry sported a foam finger for the proceedings.

Making a splash: One cheeky runner splashed Prince William with water as he handed out refreshments.

Many competitors couldn’t believe their eyes and of COURSE had to get some hard evidence they’d seen the young royals.
