26 times the Royals made us want to visit Europe

Nostalgic snaps of Charles and Diana’s ski holidays, here in Switzerland in 1986, still make us want to book a snow-filled holiday to the Alps.

When we wished we could be reincarnated as one of Kate and Will’s dogs, just enjoying the country air, and totally unbothered by a baby Prince George stealing the limelight.

When we would’ve given anything to be perched on the side of the winding streets of Monaco to peep the newlywed Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene after their lavish 2011 wedding…

…Or for a glimpse at the stunning Princess Charlene…

…And her adorable bridesmaids, girls chosen from local areas in Monaco and France to be a part of the ceremony, and dressed in adorable 18th century-inspired attire.

Then there was the nuptials of the (quite frankly, very unfortunate looking) Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden, in Stockholm.

And this picture of Carl Philip, at the Rally Sweden event earlier this year. Anyone else suddenly really interested by rally driving?

Then there’s Crown Princess Mary with her children at the Château de Cayx, a Danish royal residence (read: holiday house) in southern France.

We wished our family gatherings looked like the Danish royal family’s (pictured again at Château de Cayx).

On the topic of stunning family photos, Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI of Spain with their daughters Princess Leonor and Sofia make us want to jet to Mallorca, ASAP.

When Mary and Frederik—along with their children Isabella, Josephine and Vincent—aren’t jaunting off to the South of France, they’re often at Gråsten Palace, their “summer residence”.

Ah, to have a 16th-century Palace as your summer holiday house.

Mary and Frederik’s kids Princess Isabella and Prince Vincent (pictured again at Gråsten) make us, too, want to abandon all our cares at the sight of a Dachshund.

And in winter? To Switzerland, of course.

Speaking of snow, who can forget when little Charlotte made us want to put on a knitted pink beanie and join her, Kate, George and William in the French Alps?

We also wish all our family Christmas church visits were this colour-coordinated.

In case you were wondering, the Swedish royal family’s holidays are just as adorable. Here, Prince Daniel and Crown Princess Victoria bake with their daughter, Princess Estelle, in a cottage in the countryside.

And here’s Estelle on her 3rd birthday, having as joyful a time at the snow as anyone will ever have.

But the Swedes aren’t the only Royals with adorable little ones. Princess Charlene and her son, Prince Jacques, give us serious mummy-and-me dressing goals.
