She was a girl guide in her adolescent years, but the Duchess of Cambridge seemed to have forgotten the organisation’s motto – be prepared – yesterday, forgetting her gloves on a freezing visit to a scout camp.
Kate, 31, braved snow and chilly conditions to meet scouts at an outdoor camp in Cumbria. While almost everyone else wore warm gloves to protect their hands, the royal hands were bare, despite the artic temperatures.
Pregnant Kate looked lovely at the event, donning her favourite Le Chameau wellingtons, a khaki jacket, a tweed cap and a scout neckerchief.
