Wills and Kate had their famous first kiss as a married couple on the balcony at Buckingham Palace in front of thousands of well-wishers on their wedding day in 2011.
Marking four years since that day, they spent the anniversary back at the familiar royal residence of the Queen, where they were spotted turning into the driveway.
If tiny tot Prince George was in tow, it’s thought they may have gone for another swim at the Queen’s swimming pool for what would have been the second day in a row for the Duchess, who took George for a dip at the private pool used by members of the royal family and staff, the previous day.
Royal watchers have speculated the 33-year-old could have gone swimming with her son in an attempt to induce labour as her pregnancy reaches the uncomfortable late stages – a method often recommended by obstetricians.
It’s believed that Kate is now several days overdue as the Duchess herself has previously confirmed that she is due “mid to late April” and with the month now drawing to a close, many believe she is in fact past her due date.
As the great Kate wait continues, police officers have extended the parking restrictions outside the the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s hospital- where Kate is due give birth – to 5th May. Originally these were only in place until today.
Duchess Kate spotted yesterday behind the wheel of her Range Rover at Buckingham Palace with Prince George and his nanny Maria Borallo.
Doctors have also said that Duchess Catherine is at least five days overdue and may have to be induced.
British bookmakers widely favoured an ANZAC day baby, with April 25th by far the most popular date for the second royal with 80% of punters placing bets that that would be the day the bub arrived. Clearly though, those punters have already lost out!
We guess we’ll just have to be patient as the Great Kate Baby Wait continues!
