The Bachelor Australia season one couple, Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich, have welcomed their second child together – a baby girl!
Ruby Robards was born a few days ago and is the perfect addition to the Robards family.
“It’s been a BIG few days with a few speed bumps to test us out but coming up for air and can now introduce you to RUBY ROBARDS!,” Anna and Tim shared in their announcement post.
“Mum and Ruby are doing well now, Dad has a few more greys (which will miraculously turn brown intermittently, and Elle is being an unbelievable big sister and even better midwife. Hearts are full ❤️
“Thank you to eeeeveryone at the hospital who has helped! The docs and nurses here have all been beyond amazing and we are forever grateful 🥹”.
Friends, family and fellow Bachelor alumni were quick to send their love and support to the new family of four, with Georgia Love, Lee Elliott, Brittany Hockley and Jimmy Nicholson just some of the people to congratulate them.
Anna and Tim first announced they were pregnant via Instagram in September 2023, uploading an adorable video of their eldest daughter Elle.
Elle is captured walking around with a balloon under her shirt saying she has a baby and that “her mummy [is] going to get a baby too.”
“Turns out Elle was right. Bringing another rascal into the world 2024,” the caption read.
In the months following, the family held a gender reveal party, where they found out that they were expecting yet another girl.
“I think Elle is psychic… Turns out she was right again and is getting a sister!👧🏼 Another bday present for Dad as we tick off 41 years today… All feeling very grateful,” Tim captioned the adorable photo.
Anna, the 2013 winner of the first season of The Bachelor Australia, and Tim, the charming Bachelor himself, have been the country’s sweethearts since their televised romance.
After being together for five years, the couple tied the knot in 2018 in a picturesque ceremony in Italy.
Their first child Elle was born in 2020, adding a new chapter to their heartening love story.
After they announced they were expecting for a second time, Tim revealed why he thought baby number two would be so “different”.
“Anna’s doing most of the work at the moment, but we’re so busy with Elle, and she’s just an absolute ratbag at three now,” he laughs. “We haven’t really had much time to prepare,” Tim shared with TV Week.
“It’s different, for the first one at this stage you’re so excited and nervous and ready and just anticipating. Whereas at the moment we’re just so busy, we haven’t even had time to think about it,” he said.
“I think it’s just going to hit us all of a sudden and the next minute we’ve got two kids. So it’s a very different second time around.”
Congratulations to the new family of four!
