I told him that we would name a State after Prince George if they agreed to stay longer, but he just laughed and said ‘No, that’s ok’.”

Then I told her I was half-Russian and half-Ukranian and she said ‘I’m sorry about the situation in Ukraine’. I said that I hope it will be resolved and she said ‘Yes, so do I’.”
Network 10 anchor Angela Bishop, talked fashion with Kate: “I asked the Duchess about Australian fashion and she said she was really interested in the designers here. Kate said she really wanted to go out shopping and had been driving through cities looking out the window peering in to show windows. I think she was a little disappointed that she couldn’t shop here.”
Gail Kelly, 53, CEO at Westpac bank brought her 27-year-daughter Sharon to the reception as her plus one. Sharon said: “I’ve just moved to London recently and am staying in Chelsea. I asked them about the city and they both asked me to come over for tea at Kensington Palace. I’m definitely going to take them up on the offer!
