With her immaculately shaped eyebrows, thick dark brown hair that’s either swept back in a slick bun or parted in the middle with beach waves and golden tan, it’s safe to say Olympia Valance knows a thing or two about beauty.

Of course, understanding glam is a part of the actress’ job, which is why her beauty routine and ethos is truly tried and tested. But it’s her view on plastic surgery that has us cheering.

Whilst Olympia loves a glam look, she admits she wears less makeup on weekends.

“You really have to think about it,” she told UK newspaper The Express in 2016.

“I’ve had a breast reduction and it changed my life. It was the best thing I ever did. I love my body and I love myself. It took a long time for me to say that.”

It’s shocking that the brunette beauty didn’t always feel good about herself, but her decision attests to the power of surgery for some people.

Olympia is also a fan of sleek hairstyles and dubs them a “natural face-lift” (which even Kim Kardashian uses) to lift her eyebrows and show off her makeup.

Olympia also has a well-rounded approach to wellness and mused to Grazia about inner beauty and finding time for yourself.

“Balance is key. Life is short, so take care of yourself, love yourself and enjoy yourself,” she said.

Glamorous looks and confidence-boosting procedures aside, Olympia is a fan of at-home remedies to help her skin thrive after a long day at work.

She told Women’s Health that she finds time to have a bath during her night-time routine to relax and prep her skin for cleansing.

The 29-year-old revealed she fits it into her routine “for equal parts relaxation and also to utilise the steam to open up my pores before I begin any sort of cleansing.”

Olympia crucially points out that even if she hasn’t worn makeup, she still religiously washes her face “in order to properly remove all the grime and natural oil build-up from the day.”

Due to her TV career, the Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars contestant often has to wear a face full of makeup but Olympia likes to take a balanced approach when she has her downtime.

“I work on a TV show, so heavy makeup is essential. But when I go out at the weekend, I like to put my own face on, and I only wear a light foundation,” she shared with The Express.
