Ex-Bachelorette alum Sam Frost couldn’t hardly wait to share her excitement this morning after receiving her first ever TV WEEK Logies nomination for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent. Taking to Instagram, the Home And Away star shared a makeup-free selfie from her hotel bed, and despite a small fake tan fail, the TV-talent looked stunning.
The 29-year-old’s blue eyes shined as she posed for a fresh faced selfie wrapped in a hotel robe, with her dark blonde tresses falling naturally around her smiling face.
“Just ignore my orange fake tanned nose. Waking up freshhh this morning. A really quick thank you to all the beautiful humans sending love and good vibes. You have no idea how nice it is to wake up to!” the Logie-nominee captioned the shot.
Sam’s debut acting role as Jasmine Delaney on Home And Away, scored her the nomination which will see her pitted against fellow nominees Matty J (The Living Room), Dilruk Jayasinha (CRAM!), Sophia Forrest (Love Child) and Sophie Dillman (Home And Away).
Sam, who has faced criticism for her transition from reality star to TV actress, says the announcement came as a surprise.
Fresh faced and beautiful! Sam looks just as stunning without a full-face of makeup.
“My palms are sweating and I’m really excited!” Sam said in an exclusive chat with TV Week.
“I’ve grown up watching The Logies and there’s a huge calibre of talent, so it’s a huge honour!”
“It’s really nice considering when I first started there was a lot of criticism. The nomination goes to show that regardless of how loud and noisy the critics want to be, Australia is filled with so many encouraging and supportive people.
“I know I still have a long way to go, I’m still learning, but its nice to know I have people’s support.”
Sam flew into the Gold Coast to attend the TV Week nominees party at Nineteen At The Star on Sunday. At the event she posed with fellow Home And Away star, and Most Popular New Talent nominee Sophie Dillman.
“Thank you for all the kindness, love, support and encouragement. Such a wonderful honour to be up for a @tvweekmag Logie award. And it’s even better to be alongside a sister, colleague and a very beautiful friend @sophiedillman,” she captioned the smiling snap of herself and Sophie.
