The nude lip
It’s official: 2017 is the year of the nude lip. From Elisabeth Moss to Heidi Klum, a sheer lip added a demure and pretty touch to our leading ladies’ red-carpet looks. Traditionally, a pale lip pairs well with a bold or dramatic eye, however, take note as some stars opted for a refined, more natural look with a neutral and pinky palette all over.

This is one hair trend that caught us by surprise. Fringes were out in force at the Emmy’s, but it wasn’t Jane Fonda’s fringe that surprised us the most.

Don’t get us wrong, we love a soft, Victoria’s Secret-inspired wave – we spotted many luscious, wavy locks out on the red carpet.
However, these glamorous stars embraced the straightener and made an argument for why sleek is très chic. Reece Witherspoon mastered a super-straight, middle parted style and even showed a hint of regrowth, while Jane Fonda, opted for a fresh, kink-free, faux pony.
