How can I make my hair grow faster?

So often hair breakage is confused for a lack of hair growth. The first thing to look at is your ends to see if they are dry and snapping off — this could be why your hair never seems to be growing! Generally, hair grows 10cm per year and a healthy diet is all you need to ensure your hair is growing as fast as it can. Foods like nuts, avocado and fish are great.

How can I make my hair stronger?

The first step to strong hair is to repair and protect against any damage. The sun, heat styling and other environmental factors can weaken strands over time. And whilst these things can’t be avoided, you can use targeted products to help repair and protect against hair aggressors. Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner are a powerful combination for tackling damage, and they provide an added boost of moisture too. FYI darker hair colours are naturally stronger. Bleach weakens the hair, so if you are going lighter you really have to make sure you are using the right products to keep it feeling strong.

How do I make my hair thicker?

There are a few tricks to give your hair some va va voom in the volume department. A blunt cut will help add some weight to the ends and help hair appear fuller. Dry shampoo is also a great styling hack for instant thickness — not just at the roots, but throughout the lengths too. Spray all through the hair after you finish blow-drying.

Why does hair turn grey?

Grey hair is caused when the pigment cells in our follicles gradually die. This means your strands start to lose natural colour or melanin and will become grey, white or silver. This can happen at any age.

Is it normal for hair to fall out?

Hair naturally sheds and it’s completely normal to lose around 100 strands every day.

Are hair masks really worth it?

Hair masks should be an essential part of your hair care routine as they help to repair extreme damage by deeply conditioning the hair. Luckily, there are also products on the market that don’t need to be left on the hair as long, which is great if you are time-poor or on-the-go. Both have similar results so yes, they are worth it and there really is a mask to suit everyone!

How can I make my hair shinier?

After washing, rinse your hair with a shot of cold water. It will seal the cuticles and give hair a glossy shine.
