Julie Bishop has moved through a celebrity-esque beauty and fashion transformation over the years.
Indeed, not unlike 80s icon David Bowie, the former Foreign Minister has evolved, adapted and changed her famous flair for style over the years – all while making it look like a walk in the park.
Julie’s latest look is case in point.
The 64-year-old recently took to Instagram to share an update on her latest big appearance – a virtual one at that.
The influential Australian presided at the grand graduation ceremony for the Australian National University’s 2020 class.
As Chancellor to the college, Julie was front and centre of the celebrations, appearing via video camera live from her base in Perth, Western Australia.
Alongside the snap, Julie explained she was live crossing to Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and even Beijing and Shanghai, as 2020’s graduates celebrated their achievements.
And while the virtual ceremony itself was a spectacle, Julie’s pictures also revealed how stunning her hair is looking after a few months of growing it out.
Julie was previously known for her iconic pixie chop, which was embellished with blonde highlights.
To boot, the former politician always pulled her various outfits off to perfection – even while parliament was in session, Julie was famous for wearing some seriously chic outfits.
Now, Julie has evolved her look once again by rocking a longer, 60s-style ‘do.
Her lengthier roots have clearly gone down a treat with fans too – her images from the graduation ceremony were flooded with comments from admirers.
“.. ps. Your hair is goals 😍,” one follower wrote.
“Love your hair like this,” another added.
One more admirer wrote: “Loving the hair longer.”
As for what comes next for Julie is anyone’s guess.
Since stepping back from her role in government back in 2019, her strong female force has remained front and centre.
She has taken part in various empowering initiatives, including Witchery’s White Shirt Campaign, as well as annual charity fashion drive, Frocktober.
We’ll certainly be staying tuned – whatever comes next is sure to be a stylish affair.
