There are several stages we go through after a break-up, with sadness, anger and relief being the most common. But then there’s the best phase of all – hair makeover time!
And The Bachelor‘s Bella Varelis has wasted no time in changing up her look after recently announcing her split from boyfriend Will Stokoe.
On Thursday, Bella dyed her signature brunette locks to a gorgeous shade of honey blonde, dubbing the transformation “breakup blonde”!
Bella, who was the runner-up on Locky Gilbert’s season of The Bachelor, took to Instagram to share a photo of her stunning new hair, which features high and lowlights of caramel blonde.
The 27-year-old quipped that her hair stylist even gave her a special discount code called “breakup blonde” for Bella’s followers wanting to undergo their own hair makeover.
Bella’s transformation from brunette to blonde comes a week after she unveiled the results of her recent “mini nose job”.
“My little nose got a bit of freshen up. I’ve been unsure about whether or not I wanted to speak about this publicly as it was quite a personal thing for me,” she shared.
Bella shared a photo of her bandaged nose and bruises under-eyes, revealing it’s a procedure she’d wanted since she was 15.
“I didn’t actually get a full nose job. I only got a mini nose job. I got a tip-plasty, that was only a tip reconstruction,” she explained.
“I didn’t break my nose, which is what happens when you get a full rhinoplasty. You can do a little shave, which I did as well, but I did not break my nose,” she continued.
“I still loved the way I looked before, and my self love wasn’t dependent on this change, but I just preferred the change it would make on my face.”
Bella and Will, a photographer from Sydney, announced their break up earlier this week after two years together.
“Will and I decided to take some time apart and go our separate ways to focus on ourselves. We have so much love and respect for each other but this is just what’s best for both of us now,” Bella penned.
Bella admitted she was going through a “tough time” with the breakup.
“Personally, I’m not coping well, so if you could please respect our privacy and give us some space during this time it would be much appreciated,” she added.
