Nicole Kidman as Grace of Monaco

The trailer for Nicole Kidman’s biopic Grace of Monaco, which depicts the young life of late screen actress turned Princess, Grace Kelly, has been released amid much hostility from the Princess’s children.

Prince Albert, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie have labelled the film “pointlessly glamorised and historically inaccurate”.

Nicole Kidman plays the coveted part of the Princess of Monaco who died in a tragic car accident in 1982.

Check out the movie trailer and pictures for yourself. Grace of Monaco is set to hit Australian cinemas next year.

Have Liz Hurley and Shane Warne split?

Have Liz Hurley and Shane Warne split?

There could be trouble in paradise for English model and actress Elizabeth Hurley and Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne, if rumours are true.

The question of their relationship status comes as the pair have uncharacteristically calmed down their devotion to each other on Twitter.

The couple, who usually play out their relationship via the social networking site, have been unusually quiet lately with Liz even failing to acknowledge Shane’s 44th birthday last week, tweeting about her alpacas instead.

“Goodnight from Melb everybody & thanks again for everyone that took time out to tweet me “happy birthday” Appreciated it, sending twitter heart,” Warnie tweeted.

However, Liz, 48, only managed to send out one tweet that day, “Uh oh… the alpacas have escaped”.

While the pair are yet to speak out about the reports, there’s no denying they each have sent out some very cryptic comments lately.

“Something to think about, it’s not what happens in your life, it’s how you react to what life throws at u, in both the good & bad times!” Shane tweeted.

Liz, who was meant to arrive in Melbourne a week ago but is yet to do so, also sent a strange message recently.

“The more I know of man, the more I love my dog. Goodnight from me and Raja…” she tweeted alongside a picture of her dog.

If the pair are on the rocks, it’s not the first time. Liz and Shane, or Shurley as they’ve become known, briefly split up in 2011 before rekindling their romance.

“As Elizabeth said, yes, we did briefly (split up), but we realised that what we had was special,” Shane said at the time.

Stay tuned to Twitter for updates on their relationship status!

Naomi Watts walks out of Diana interview

Naomi Watts walks out of Diana interview

Aussie star Naomi Watts abruptly ended a BBC radio interview about her role in the film Diana because she didn’t like the questions being asked by UK radio host, Simon Mayo.

Earlier this month, the 44-year-old actress, who plays Princess Diana in the controversial film, walked out of a British interview citing she was being asked to wind up, when in fact she whispered in her PR’s ear before deciding herself to end the interview.

Simon Mayo, the host of BBC Radio 5 Live, has denied asking any inappropriate questions, posting the full unedited version of the pre-recorded interview for his segment Kermode & Mayo’s Film Review online and saying he is a little bit “baffled” as to why she was so unconformable.

The UK radio presenter took to Twitter to share his surprise at the star’s reaction to his seemingly harmless questions.

“A first for me and @wittertainment as Naomi Watts walked out of an interview! She seemed a tad uncomfortable with the questions. Shame.”

The interview, which seemed to be flowing flawlessly, was curtly cut off when the UK DJ asked Watts if they needed to get permission to film outside of Kensington Palace.

“Yes, we had permissions. We did get permission, “ Watts was quick to explain.

When the radio host tried to continue the interview the actress spoke over the top of him, saying she was getting the wind up.

“I think we are getting the wind up. Sorry!” Naomi then repeated, “We’re getting the wind up, I’m really sorry – it’s nice talking to you.”

The Aussie star wasn’t perturbed when the radio host pointed out that he was given 10 minutes to interview the actress and had only used eight and a half minutes.

“Oh, well, I think we are running late, we’ve got to go to the next thing.”

However despite the PR rep chiming in to back up the star’s wind-up claims, a producer for BBC Radio 5 Live, who was at the off-site location where the star was being interviewed, said the actress was not being prompted to wind up but instead whispered to her PR rep before walking out of the room.

Despite the long-standing UK radio host coming to his own defence by releasing the uncut interview, the film company Entertainment One has denied Mayo’s claims and since banned him from interviewing any of the film’s other leading stars.

The King Kong star has had a nervous wait surrounding the release of Diana, Naomi’s main concern being the reaction from the Royal family itself.

Princess Diana’s ex-lover, Dr Hasnat Khan, has publically slammed the film’s credibility and many film critics have labelled it a royal flop after the London world premiere on September 5. The movie opens to the UK public on September 20, but Australians will have to wait until October 10 to get their first look at Naomi’s highly contentious role.

Queen’s corgis eat fillet steak cooked by palace chef

Queen's corgis eat fillet steak cooked by palace chef

The Queen with one of her corgis at Balmoral in 1952.

They live in a palace and travel by private plane so it’s not surprising the Queen’s beloved corgis don’t end their day with a can of Chum.

Instead, the royal pooches are served a luxury diet of fillet steak and chicken breast specially prepared by a Buckingham Palace chef.

At 5pm sharp, a footman delivers the meals to the Queen, who adds the finishing touches herself, pouring gravy over the steak or chicken.

Royal biographer Brian Hoey details the dogs’ remarkable regimen in his new book Pets by Royal Appointment.

He says the corgis have never eaten tinned food in their lives, and are so pampered the Queen hires a homeopath to treat them whenever they are ill.

When at Buckingham Palace, the dogs sleep in raised wicker baskets in a room near the royal apartments, where they roam freely.

The Queen has been a corgi devotee since her 18th birthday, when she was given a Pembroke corgi called Susan. All her future dogs were bred from Susan.

At present, the Queen owns two corgis, Willow and Holly, and two dorgis — corgis crossed with dachshunds — called Candy and Vulcan.

But Hoey claims Prince Philip “loathes” all the Queen’s dogs “because they yap too much”.

Nigella’s ex Charles Saatchi starts dating Trinny Woodall

Nigella’s ex Charles Saatchi starts dating Trinny Woodall

Just six weeks after their quickie divorce, Nigella Lawson’s ex-husband Charles Saatchi appears to be dating again.

Saatchi was spotted twice last week with What Not To Wear style guru Trinny Woodall, 49.

The pair met for dinner at popular restaurant Scott’s in central London, the same venue where controversial images were taken of him placing his hands around his ex-wife’s neck three months ago.

The pair joked together at their terrace table, as Saatchi lit cigarettes and drank white wine during their date on Monday night. The pair met again at the same restaurant on Friday.

“He usually looks pretty thunderous,” an onlooker told Sunday People “But he seemed to be rather laid-back and enjoying himself. Trinny is a really beautiful woman.

“If they went out twice in a week they obviously get on well.”

The pair reportedly began dating after Saatchi’s friends insisted the 70-year-old stop moping around and start meeting other women.

“Charles used to be a real man about town and they want him to get back to his old ways,” a source said.

“He can be terribly charming and charismatic, but his confidence has taken such a bashing from the fallout over the divorce.”

While Saatchi apparently refused to take part in five different dates set up for him by friends, he did agree to see Trinny who broke up from her Italian businessman boyfriend Stefano Bonfiglio last Christmas.

Nigella, 53, who has remained silent on the strangling incident and their divorce, is currently in Los Angeles filming the second series of US TV cooking competition The Taste.

We made a baby with 23-year-old sperm!

We made a baby with 23-year-old sperm!

A “rainy day” decision has brought these proud parents untold joy.

Giddy with excitement, Peter and Barbara Dixon sat at a Sydney coffee shop willing their mobile phone to ring.

Like most couples waiting for the results of a pregnancy test, they were experiencing a roller-coaster of emotions. But unlike other would-be parents, they were also battling mammoth odds by trying to conceive a baby using sperm more than 23 years old.

“I had cancer when I was 27,” explains Peter, now 51. “I had to have radiation and in those days they would just bombard the whole body – from neck to knees for 31 days – which had the possibility of leaving me infertile.”

So on doctor’s advice, Peter supplied samples to a university before undergoing treatment. The radiation beat the cancer and, as predicted, left Peter infertile. But, healthy again, he moved on with life, not giving too much thought to his “rainy day” samples.

Prince Philip finally gets to meet baby George

Prince Philip finally gets to meet baby George

Eight weeks since he was introduced to the world making a spectacular and very public entrance, Prince George has finally met his great-grandfather.

The future king was whisked to the Queen’s holiday home Balmoral in Scotland in a private jet to meet 92-year-old Prince Philip.

Having been off duty recovering from abdominal surgery earlier this year, the Queen’s husband has been convalescing in the royals’ country residences and had not yet had a chance to meet his great-grandson.

Prince Philip was the last senior royal not to have met the third-in-line to the throne, until he flew in a private jet, accompanied by parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge of course, to Scotland yesterday afternoon.

Grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla are also staying nearby at Birkhall.

Royal insiders are anticipating that George’s first visit to Balmoral may provide a unique family photo opportunity, the Daily Mail reports.

It would be the first time in more than a century three generations of heirs would be captured in a family portrait including Prince Charles, 64, Prince William, 31, and baby Prince George.

It is unknown how long Cambridge family will spend in Balmoral.

Since the arrival of the newest member of the family in July the young royals have spent most of their time at Kate’s parents’ family home in Berkshire, before finishing up their stay in Wales where they have spent the past three years.
