Melissa Doyle has capstoned her transformation from ‘mumsy’ to model with flair, appearing in News Corp’s Sunday Style magazine looking more glamorous than ever.
The former host of Channel Seven’s Sunrise program and queen of breakfast TV became a household name as the warm, approachable mother-of-two who worked alongside Kochie.
But having recently departed the show after 14 years, the 44-year-old appears to have found a new lease on life.
“Thanks @sundaystyle for making me feel a million bucks!” she said on Instagram, and that is precisely how she looked.
With super-straight and super-blonde hair and showing off a trim figure after shedding 10kgs, Melissa looked more like a model than a mum.
We’ve captured here her style evolution and look forward to seeing what’s next!

On my recent trip to Timor Leste with Oxfam Australia I got to see and hear first-hand, the effects of climate change on the people there. It was officially the end of the wet season — but there had been no rain. The ground was bone-dry and hard as cement.
The farmers talked to me about how the seasons are changing. There is a new uncertainty in weather patterns that wasn’t there for previous generations. And this isn’t just the case in Timor Leste — around the world, extreme weather and unreliable seasons are playing havoc with farmers’ crops and livelihoods.
With great tenacity, the people in Timor Leste are adapting; programs run by Oxfam and their partners are helping them become more resilient to climate change. I visited two community gardens, where I witnessed crop diversification which is bolstering the ability of the communities to support themselves. For instance, the lack of rain has caused the corn crop to fail – but there is a thriving patch of eggplants.
Diversifying the crops not only means that communities are less vulnerable to changing weather conditions. It also means there is more variety in what can be sold at market, which means a better price can be negotiated than if everyone has the same thing to sell.
I also helped to harvest snails for consumption. In this particular community, previous generations these have been considered poison, but now the locals know that they are edible, they provide another valuable source of food.
Cooking with the women of Timor Leste was a great privilege. In the village of Espy 2, I was taught how to turn cassava and bananas into snacks that can be stored for longer than their freshly-harvested counterparts.
In developing countries, most of the food waste occurs at the production end of the food line due to an absence of storage facilities, and difficult transportation.
This is different to developed countries, where the food is able to reach the market but is often wasted at the consumer end. So, being able to produce food products like cassava chips, means that food can be stored and transported rather than spoiling and going to waste.
It is wonderful to see the work of Oxfam and its partners in a country that is so vulnerable to the changing weather conditions and increasing extreme weather events.
This work will continue to build the resilience of the Timorese people and allow them to better support themselves through the coming challenging times.
But there are actions all of us can take every day to help too.
We can lobby our leaders to be more ambitious in reducing Australia’s emissions, and to continue to support communities to adapt to their changing climate. And we can be pushing food companies to also take greater responsibility for reducing emissions.
We can take everyday steps to prevent waste and reduce our own carbon footprint. We can join Oxfam’s GROW! Campaign to keep ourselves informed of the issues.
I left Timor Leste with a renewed respect for the people who spend their lives working on the land to sustain their families and communities. Their positivity, their creativity and their perseverance are all things that I will remember and draw on in my own life.
It also gives me renewed determination to make good decisions in my daily life that will contribute to the solution rather than adding to the problem. And I have a strengthened sense of the responsibility that we all, as humans sharing one planet, have to each other.
The climate is changing. The responsibility lies with each of us to do our part to make sure that everyone has enough to eat, always.
By Julie Goodwin is Oxfam Australia’s GROW ambassador.
It finds that climate change could put back the fight against hunger by decades and our global food system is woefully unprepared to cope with the challenge.
Ricki Lee leads the way of stars who are proud of their body as she hits back on Instagram.
Ricki-Lee Coulter leads the way of stars who are proud of their body as she hits back at online bullies via Instagram.
Responding to criticisms about her physique, Ricki posted a bare bikini shot in which she faces the camera front-on. “I’ve been called every name under the sun & have always managed to maintain an unbreakable self confidence,” she wrote.
“It’s that self confidence that I’ve always tried to encourage women to have. The kind of confidence where it doesn’t matter what anybody says – you are happy with yourself.
“It’s never mattered to me what size I am – I’ve always been full of confidence & always felt comfortable in my skin & felt sexy no matter what size. I hope this puts an end to the ridiculous comments about the way I look.”
Responding to criticism that she looked too thin, Ricki-Lee isn’t the first celeb to defend her look by flaunting her curves. Other female stars have defended their bodies after criticisms of not being thin enough. Salma Hayek has lambasted Hollywood for putting pressure on actresses to be unnaturally thin and Jennifer Lopez apparently once fired a manager whole told her to lose weight.
Christina Hendricks, who probably has the most incredible shapely figure in the business, says that she loved her body after she put on weight. “I loved how it changed my appearance and how it made me look more womanly and sexy.”

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are expecting their first child!
The pair, [who only recently became engaged], will welcome their first child this year, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
“They are both very, very happy. It’s still early,” a friend of the couple told the magazine.
Ashton, 36 and Mila, 30 were spotted out and about at the Clippers game in LA on Saturday, and have been dodging baby rumours ever since they announced their engagement.
The couple now have a baby and a wedding to plan for, but they aren’t in any rush the source says.
“It won’t necessarily be a short engagement,” a friend close to the couple said.
“They haven’t begun planning the wedding yet.”
The Two and a Half Men star started dating Mila in 2012, but is said to have had feelings for her since they met on the set of That ’70s Showin 1998.
“He was so in love with [Mila] for a while when they worked together,” a source close to Kutcher said in 2012.
“He thought she was a goddess, was always talking about how beautiful she is.”

Crystal Hefner might be married to Hugh Hefner but her real love is Charlie, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who goes just about everywhere with the Playboy Playmate.
The dog even featured in the couple’s wedding photos but those images don’t come anywhere near this jaw-dropping Instagram snapshot of Charlie happily nestling his chin between Crystal’s derriere cheeks.
It is, to be sure, one of the weirdest images a celebrity has posted on Instagram so far. But it is in good company.
Prolific poster Kim Kardashian shocked fans when she posted a bloodied face following an acupuncture session. Jessica Simpson raised eyebrows with a three-way kiss with girlfriends, and the likes of Brooklyn Decker and Zooey Deschanel have broken all the rules in keeping up appearances.

Prince Harry has gone another step further in making his two year relationship with Cressida Bonas seem official by inviting his girlfriend as his date to a private dinner.
Prince Harry has gone another step further in making his two year relationship with Cressida Bonas seem official by inviting his 25-year-old girlfriend as his date to a private dinner he will be hosting at St James’ Palace.
The prince will throw the party in honour of friends he made whilst on the 335 kilometre journey to the South Pole before Christmas for his patron charity, Walking With The Wounded.
According to the UK’s The Mail on Sunday a source close to the palace said guests of the event have been told they can invite their partners and “Harry has told Cressida she is welcome to come along.”
If Miss Bonas, who works in marketing, attends the March 27 event with her host-date then she’s inevitably likely to be involved in ensuring the evening runs smoothly.
While it’s unclear exactly what duties Cressida may have on the night, she’s unlikely to be in charge of formally greeting guests upon arrival as the Duchess of Cambridge does when hosting events with Prince William.
According to the British press insiders speculate that the relaxed affair will be without the usual stresses of a royal event and therefore would be a perfect opportunity to introduce Cressida to royal duties.
“Harry and his mates went through thick and thin together, so the dinner party will be a really relaxed and jovial affair,” says a source. “But there is no doubt that it will be a Royal banquet, albeit a private one.”
The private couple have been less shy about hiding their relationship in the past month. They were seen laughing with arms around each other at the We Day youth event at Wembley which has caused speculation that a royal engagement may not be too far away.
In the past month, clothing retailers Rivers Australia, Just Jeans, and bedding chain Pillow Talk recalled items, including children’s jeans, coloured with “azo dyes” known to break down into carcinogenic chemicals.
While not all azo dyes present as a problem expert authorities classify these colorants as carcinogens and advise against prolonged contact.
“While this dye stuff is not banned for textiles use in Australia, Just Jeans is initiating this action as it does not meet Just Jeans’ strict quality assurance standards,” said the retailers in their official product recall statement.
Europe has banned such imports and the US has imposed limits in place to guide retailers but Australia has taken no such action prompting fears it could become a dumping ground for harmful clothing.
The Australian Health Department’s National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme has taken action and wants to prohibit hazardous azo dyes from sale and recommended the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission constrain the importation of hazardous dyed clothing and textiles. At this stage, no laws or rules have yet been reformed to restrict azo- colorant imports.
Azo dyes were identified as strong cancer-causing agent in rats and mice fed and injected with the substance in the 1930s.
The ACCC recently conducted tests on 199 items in mainstream stores and discovered four pairs of jeans and a pillowcase showed evidence of the risky dye stuff.
According to the ACCC study washing did not necessarily reduce the concentration of hazardous chemicals.
A Rivers Australia spokesperson said about 1400 pairs of jeans were sold before the recall. “While this dye stuff is not banned for textile use in Australia, Rivers Australia does not permit its inclusion in our products,” he said.
Just Jeans says in an effort to maintain safety standards it would no longer use the Chinese supplier responsible for the recalled garments.
Cressida Bonas has been asked to co-host a formal palace dinner with Prince Harry, signalling royal recognition of her status as the prince’s partner.
The dinner, to be held at St James’s Palace on March 27, will honour war heroes. She will attend as partner of host Harry, who is patron of the Walking With The Wounded charity.
While her duties will not include formally greeting guests, as the Duchess of Cambridge would when hosting events with Prince William, she will effectively share hosting duties with the prince.
The charity helps injured veterans who are dealing with life-changing injuries, and organised a 335km trek to the South Pole last year.
“Harry and his mates went through thick and thin together, so the dinner party will be a really relaxed and jovial affair,” a source has said.
“But there is no doubt it will be a royal banquet, albeit a private one.”
Another source has added that while it is not technically an official royal event, the dinner marks a significant step in the relationship of Harry, 29, and 25-year-old Cressie.
It is the latest in a series of official events for the couple, who have been dating for two years, and publicly signals just how serious their relationship is, not just to them but also to the royal family.
For instance, they recently appeared together at Wembley Arena for We Day UK, engaging in several public displays of affection, and were also seen looking cosy at the RBS Six Nations match between England and Wales at Twickenham Stadium.
The St James’s Palace dinner will be held in the State Apartments, generally used for State visits and hosting receptions.
