Jennifer Hawkins’ beach palace up for sale

The former Miss Universe’s North Curl Curl beach pad is up for sale for an undisclosed sum.

Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins and husband Jake Wall have put their luxury North Curl Curl on the market for an undisclosed sum.

The glamour couple’s modern tri-level home features a sleek open plan design, five bedrooms, a state-of-the-art cinema, an outdoor kitchen, a heated wet-edge pool and an east facing balcony to enjoy Pacific Ocean views.

The home is just one of the couple’s five northern beaches investment properties and of course, beauty queen Jen has made sure that the luxury coastal pad includes enough room for her enviable shoe collection.

While the Myer ambassador’s shoe habit is far from the 1200 pairs owned by Imelda Marcos, the model mogul hasn’t been shy about showing off her pretty collection on Instagram.

“The shoe wall is very special – the shoes look like pieces of art,” 30-year-old Hawkins has said about her sizeable walk-in robe she helped design.

The property has served the couple well as a party pad, playing host to several big bashes including their recent jungle-themed New Year’s Eve party.

“We definitely enjoy a celebration. We entertain quite often,’’ Hawkins has said. “We love it over here – it’s a holiday everyday of the week.”

The 30-year-old model and her beau of eight years have listed the home with Belle Property Manly, with agent Steve Thomas saying it offers private coastal living at its absolute best.

With a property portfolio of an estimated $7 million, the beachy pair are now reportedly looking at another renovation project in North Curl Curl.

Jen and Jake have put their dream home on the market.

The east-facing home enjoys breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

The property’s outdoor area features a heated pool, canopy and modern lounge space and is the perfect beach pad for entertaining.

With floor-to-wall window features the sleek interior can bathe in the morning sunshine.

The tri-story pad has a large balcony to enjoy the sweeping coastal views.

The home has a full outdoor kitchen which would come in handy on a hot summer day.

The model’s large walk-in robe neatly displays her enviable shoe collection.

The glamorous couple hosted a jungle themed New Year’s Eve party to ring in the year.

The Duchess of Cambridge has triumphed over her husband, beating him 2-0 in a yacht race on Auckland harbour.

William and Kate went head-to-head in two sprints across the harbour, with experienced sailor Kate easily outstripping the Duke both times.

After last night’s stunning black cocktail frock, Kate chose a more low-key outfit today, stepping out in jeans, a striped t-shirt and a navy blue blazer with gold buttons. William also donned casual attire, wearing brown chinos, an open-neck shirt and a blue jumper.

The royal couple left baby George with his nanny in Wellington this morning and flew to Whenupai Air Base in Auckland to meet families of Air Force servicemen and women.

Despite the unforgiving weather, the couple shook as many hands as possible, rewarding the well-wishers who braved the driving rain to welcome them.

Gwyneth Paltrow wanted to continue a pretend marriage with Chris

Gwyneth Paltrow didn’t want to go public with her and Chris Martin’s “conscious uncoupling”. Instead, she hoped to pretend the pair were still married.

While rumours of the pair’s marriage breakdown were circulating long before they announced their split, Gwyneth desperately wanted to keep their separation a secret. But her Coldplay rocker husband, 37, put his foot down, insisting they go public.

“It was his idea to announce the split,” a source told the New York Post. “They had drifted apart, and there was no chance they’d get back together, so he felt it was wrong to keep pretending.”

Gwyneth, 41, announced the separation on her blog calling it a “conscious uncoupling”.

“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” she wrote.

“We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.”

The pair, who avoided being photographed together in public for most of their decade-long marriage, made the unusual move of posing happily for public photos in the lead-up to their split.

It is believed their relationship broke down following Gwyneth’s alleged links to Elle Macpherson’s billionaire husband, real-estate mogul Jeffrey Soffer, and entertainment lawyer Kevin Yorn.

New Zealand baby mistaken for Prince George

It’s not every day you get confused with royalty, but it seems 14-month-old Leila Grenside’s family will be telling her this story for many years to come.

In a case of mistaken identity, baby Leila’s photo has circulated around the world with a caption mistaking her for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first-born son.

For days the world’s media believed the 14-month-old, pictured above, was his royal cuteness, Prince George, with publications including The Sun, The Mirror and Hello! mistakenly naming little Leila as the Prince.

It was first thought the woman accompanying the fair-haired baby in the photograph, Leila’s mum, was Prince George’s Spanish nanny.

“It’s hilarious,” Leila’s mum Jessica Nickelsen told the New Zealand Herald.

“I love it that nobody thought, ‘This is a child wearing a bright yellow dress’ as opposed to what [George] had been seen in moments earlier,” she said.

Leila is in fact New Zealand Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae’s niece and was there to watch William and Catherine be welcomed at a traditional ceremony at Government House.

Ms Nickelsen said she took her daughter to the Governor-General’s private apartment so they wouldn’t disrupt the royal engagement.

“All we saw was the roped-off media area and just assumed everybody’s attention was on William and Kate and the procession,” she said.

While Prince George and little Leila share the same short hair and similar colouring, Ms Nickelsen found the whole situation hilarious.

“We just had a giggle, but it’s very bizarre. I don’t know if we should nickname her Prince George any time soon, but it’ll be a neat story for her when she’s a bit older,” she said.
