The Duchess of Cambridge suffered her very own white dress Marilyn moment in Delhi yesterday, when her pricey designer dress fell foul of a gust of wind.
Always elegant, Kate kept her cool throughout the potentially embarrassing incident while her quick-moving hands preserved her modesty.

On Monday April 11, Prince William and his wife, Duchess Catherine were the guests of honour at a garden party at the residence of the British High Commission in New Delhi, to celebrate her majesty the Queen’s impending 90th Birthday.
All eyes were on Catherine, who donned perhaps her most beautiful tour outfit yet, as the royal couple made their show-stopping entrance.
The mother-of-two descended the stairs in a black and white crop-top and skirt duo, which featured intricate geometric and floral embroidery.
She paired the set with dropped jewelled earrings and black sandals, and kept her tresses swept back in loose curls.
The separates, by British fashion designer Alice Temperley, have naturally sold out since debuting on the Duchess.
Kate’s ensemble has a total price tag of £3000 or $AUD5,600.
The Duchess’ outfit was a fitting choice for the stunning Indian landscapes.
Wills and Kate beamed from ear to ear as the toasted to the Queen, who became the longest-serving monarch last year, before cutting a delicious-looking union jack cake – with a sword, no less!
The father of George, two, and Charlotte, 11 months, then took to the stage to share a few touching words about his grandmother.
“I hope you don’t mind if I take the opportunity to pay tribute to the Queen on a more personal note,” William began.
Well, now we’ve seen everything!
“I am incredibly lucky to have my grandmother in my life. As she turns 90, she is a remarkably energetic and dedicated guiding force for her family.”
“And I am so glad that my children are having the chance to get to know the Queen. George and Charlotte, too, will discover how lucky they are to have such a wonderful great-grandmother – a role model for the rest of their lives,” William said fondly of the bond between his children and their “Gan Gan”.
“She may be my grandmother, but she is also very much the boss!” The handsome royal quipped of his grandmother in his memorable speech.
Speaking to fellow guest Deepa Thomas Sutcliffe, vice president and head of communications at Nissan, Catherine shared a rare and candid sentiment about her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
“I told the Duchess I have been a huge royal fan my whole life and I adored Princess Diana. I was five years old when she married. She said ‘unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting her.'”
Kate was also cheekily asked by Dhar-James, another guest at the event, how she manages to maintain her healthy figure after giving birth to her two adorable children.
“We said, ‘How do you lose all the weight after having two kids?’” the professor told People to which she replied, “I am running after my kids!”

Following the exquisite garden party, the royal couple visited India Gate in New Delhi to lay a wreath at the memorial that honours the 74,000 Indian soldiers who died fighting in the First World War.
But while placing the floral bouquet down on the monument with her husband, Catherine’s cream Emilia Wickstead wool crepe dress was whipped up into the wind, unintentionally recreating the famous scene from Marilyn Monroe’s iconic film, Seven Year Itch.

The 34-year-old, who always manages to maintain her composure with the utmost elegance, narrowly avoided the Marilyn Monroe moment by clasping her hands down around the hemline.
They say her royal highness; the Queen has long been known to have her hemlines weighed down with small lead balls or fine chains. Perhaps Kate will also be adopting this habit!

When four-year-old Camden Vaughn found his mum Misty unconscious on Sunday night in their home in Dallas, US, he unlocked her phone and made a life-saving call to his dad, Dr Jeremy Vaughn.
Jeremy told Texas WFAA of his son’s call: “He said, ‘Daddy, I need you to come home! Mummy can’t get in the bath because she can’t wake up. And I said: ‘I’m on my way!’”
Misty believed she had a cold but she had passed out with a high fever.
“It was reading 105 (fahrenheit, about 40.5 degrees celsius) on my thermometer, and that’s the last thing I remember.”

Doctors believe she suffered a seizure, and Camden’s quick-thinking saved her life.
Dr Ousama Moammar at Charlton Medical Center said: “Acting early and fast is really of the essence.”
Misty is recovering well, and is incredibly grateful for her son’s quick actions.

“If my brain had continued at that temperature, I could not be the same here … the same or not be here at all for them,” she said.
“I feel like my trust in his responsibility has definitely increased.”

After putting a shout out on Facebook a UK mum allowed five strangers breastfeed her baby when she couldn’t, reports Daily Mail.
Ronja Wiedenbeck, 26, was rushed to hospital and given drugs too heavy to allow her to continue feeding her 11-month old son, Rio.
Ronja was worried her son would dehydrate so she took to social media to ask for some help from fellow breastfeeding mummies.
The single-mum of two was inundated with offers from over 1000 volunteers and the within an hour of posting her plea Rio was happily suckling from a wet-nurse’s breast in the hospital.
Ronja, an amateur model, suffers from ovarian cysts was rushed to hospital in Cornwall in extreme pain and doctors gave her morphine, rendering her unable to safely feed her son. Ronja had plenty of expressed breast milk in her freezer but Rio refused to drink from anything other than a breast.
She said she had never considered using a wet-nurse before but she didn’t know how long she would be in hospital for and she was worried her son would become dehydrated.
“I was pumped full of morphine and it seemed instinctive for someone to feed him in a way that he has been used to and he’s comfortable with,” the mum said.
“When he was about to be fed by the first lady he looked over at me, almost to ask for approval, it filled my heart with such joy and massive relief.
“I’m so grateful and totally overwhelmed with the response to the message. It is such a loving and selfless act and incredibly heart warming to see.
“There is so much negativity around breast feeding, it is absolutely incredible to have this support when I needed it.”
Over the next few days five different ladies breastfed Rio, sometimes at the hospital, and sometimes in their own home accompanied by a family member or trusted friend.
Before formulas were created, wet-nurses were not only acceptable but a welcome part of the family if a mother had trouble feeding, or chose not to breastfeed. Often the nurse was feeding her own child simultaneously which created a strong bond between babies known as “milk-siblings.”
The World Health Organisation lists wet-nursing and milk banks as a good alternative when a mother’s own milk is not available but there are some risks involved.
Donor mothers may have diseases that can be passed through the milk. While all caution is usually taken, there is still the risk of the unknown.
A two-year-old girl has been bitten by a dingo in Western Australia’s Cape Leveque while her family were having a picnic on the beach.
The attack occurred on Friday evening while the Dwyer family were on holiday at the Kooljaman resort.
The animal stealthily crept up and tried to steal little Stella’s stuffed toy.
“[Stella] tried to crawl away and was crying and it just ran back in and grabbed her on the lower back and buttock,” 27-year-old Christine Dwyer told the ABC.
The animal actually bit through her nappy and punctured her skin, but no blood was drawn. “It tried to drag her backwards but it only got maybe six inches.”
Staff were close by when the incident occurred, and tried to shoo the animal away.
“They took us up to the nurses to make sure she didn’t need any tetanus injections or anything like that, and just clean up the little scratches and puncture wounds that she received through the nappy,” she continued.
It is understood that the dingo is the same one who’s been seen stealing rubbish for the local tip recently.
Christine said: “We were a little bit disappointed in the sense that if they’ve known that it’s been a nuisance for three months, why does it take for it to actually bite or attack before somebody acts?”
Traps were laid for the animal, and it is believed to be now destroyed.

“So, we kind of will have to plan it in between tours. But yes, some day in the future would be lovely.”
The pair wed in front of 200 friends and family in the NSW Southern Highlands on Saturday.
Emma, the first female English-speaking Wiggle, admitted that it was a tough decision for her to resist wearing a yellow wedding dress!
“I really, really like the colour yellow. But in the end, I fell in love with that dress that I ended up wearing,” she said.
The couple dated for more than two years in secret before Lachlan popped the question, shocking fans – and parents of their fans! – all around the world.
