Rebecca and Chris Judd

Congratulations are in order for the Aussie couple, who announced they are expecting twins.

The mother-of-two confirmed the happy news with an Instagram post, that showed off her burgeoning baby bump.

“OMGEEEEEE- freakin TWINS are on the way,” she captioned the sweet snap of her cradling her growing tummy alongside her four-year-old son, Oscar, who donned an excited smile.

“I get heart palpitations and sweats telling people as I’m still in shock but also giddy with excitement.”

From a family of four, to six!

The couple, who are already parents to Oscar and Billie, two, shared their equal shock and excitement in an interview with Melbourne’s Herald Sun.

“We can’t quite believe it,” the 33-year-old blogger and beauty entrepreneur said.

“We were weighing up whether to go for a third. We thought we would give it a try, and the first go we ended up having twins, which was so unexpected.”

The brunette beauty revealed that her initial eight week scan detected only one baby, and that it wasn’t until the routine twelve week check-up that she discovered her and her 32-year-old hubby were expecting twins.

“I could see one baby, and then I could see a blob. And my words to my obstetrician were, ‘What’s that blob?’

“There was a little bit of silence, and then he said, ‘That’s another kid.’

“I screamed. I got the shakes and I almost fainted.”

Their happy family will grow from four to six when the babies are expected to arrive in October.

One of the twins is expected to be a boy, but the gender of the second twin is yet to be determined.

Will the new twins love footy as much as Oscar and Billie? Only time will tell!

On their impending new arrivals, Rebecca and Chris – who married in 2010 – acknowledge that their parenting will no doubt be stepped up a notch or five.

“We are really going to have to re-evaluate everything now: work, life, cars, house — everything. I think I might need a minivan,” she said.

“It will be loud, and it will be crazy.”

Congratulations on your amazing news, Rebecca and Chris! We can’t wait to meet your little ones.

Queen Elizabeth: 90 glorious years in pictures

Happy birthday, Your Majesty!

Queen Elizabeth has been many things in the course of her long life: a lady, a girl guide, a Princess, a mechanic in the army, a mother, a Queen, a grandmother, a great-grandmother. And, as of September 10th last year, she adopted yet another title as the longest ever serving monarch in England’s history. Now – she’s turning 90.

Elizabeth, who has weathered the storms of politicians, scandals, wars and deaths, is revered as one of the most formidable Queens to have taken the Throne.

Born as a daughter of a man who was never meant to rule, the young Lady went from being a girl guide in her London terrace to ascending her father’s throne as Queen Regnant.

Her love story with Prince Philip of Denmark and Greece was regarded as great romance, as was their happy marriage and the births of their four children, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.

As she succeeds her ancestor, Queen Victoria, as the longest-serving English monarch in history, we look back at the incredible life and times of one of the greatest women this age has seen: Her Majesty, Elizabeth II, Queen of England.

Elizabeth was born the first child of her parents, Queen Elizabeth and King George VI.

She was raised in London, with her sister Margaret, and was educated privately.

For the first time in history, a Princess was allowed to serve as a Girl Guide.

The Princess Elizabeth was also a member of the British Armed Forces. She is seen here leading the troops in a ceremony.

Princess Elizabeth was educated in arts, literature, and music by her governess, Marion Crawfield, or “Crawfie”.

After a string of love letters sent back and forth (which is how Prince Philip is rumoured to have won her heart), Elizabeth and her military sweetheart, Prince Philip of Denmark and Greece, became engaged.

Elizabeth and Philip were married on 20 November 1947 at Westminster Abbey. Their wedding took place at the end of the second world war and Elizabeth required ration coupons to buy the material of her dress.

IT’S OVER: Married at First Sight’s Clare Verral dumps Jono Pitman

The controversial reality show has claimed its first couple, with Clare and Jono calling it quits just three weeks into their pseudo marriage.
Loading the player...

On Tuesday morning, supposed villain Jono Pitman spoke to Channel Nine’s The Today Show to set the record straight on his true colours.

Finally clarifying his infamous “she’s not what I ordered” line, the tradie explained he doesn’t regret his comments.

“That wasn’t going through my head when I turned around. I was like ‘wow!’ I wasn’t disappointed at all. I was rapt. She’s a gorgeous, amazing, awesome, kind-hearted woman. Just not normally what I’d go for. No [I don’t regret the comment], I don’t go through life with regrets,” he said.

Watch Jono’s interview in the player above. Post continues after the video!

Jono also addressed allegations he cheated on Clare during their honeymoon. “It’s so far from the truth it’s not funny.”

“I was definitely, 100% single before the show, whilst I was on the show and I’ll stand by that,” he revealed.

As for if he is dating anyone now, Jono confirmed that “at the moment, I’m seeing somebody.”

While he wouldn’t confirm if it was Rachael Baxter he did say: “I knew the person before the show.”

On Monday night’s episode, just three weeks into the experiment, Clare and Jono called time on their doomed marriage.

Meanwhile Monday night’s episode of Married At First Sight saw Clare call time on her relationship with Jono.

Of course, the pair broke it off the only way they knew how – in an epic one-on-one smack down followed by the world’s most awkward dinner party with the rest of the show’s couples.

After Jono moved out of Clare’s Melbourne pad last week, the pair hadn’t been in contact since.

They were finally reunited on a weekend away to the Blue Mountains in NSW, with the purpose of the trip for all the couples to meet each other.

But both ended up flying solo to the event, with Clare officially pulling the plug just minutes into the trip.

“The second we disagreed on something, your walls went absolutely up. You gave me nothing from that point on,” 32-year-old Clare explained.

Watch the break-up in the player below. Post continues after the video!

Before adding: “That really hurt me. I don’t just leave as soon as s gets hard. And as soon as s got hard, you bailed.”

“This is a pressure cooker and we’re both trying to learn from each other and learn how to communicate. But I would say this isn’t working. And I was kind of hoping that some things would have changed a bit.”

Jono, 28, pointed out that he saw a nasty side of Clare when they fought and perhaps she might not be ready for a relationship.

But Clare wasn’t having a bar of it and stormed off into the bush to sob.

“I might just leave you here and I might go and find somewhere else to stay,” she said.

Imagine having to endure a dinner party with your ex-boyfriend… who you broke up with half-an hour ago!

After arriving separately to the dinner, Christie finally asked them what had happened. And thus opened the flood gates with Clare sharing every detail on every fight they’d ever hard.

“I’m 32, for me I’m looking for something real… I spent one night with Jono this week because he is a ghost husband and whenever he gets irritated he leaves,” she fumed.

“My take on it would be that Jono is hot-headed… he has a much shorter fuse than I do.”

“’You are an absolute prick,” she added before storming out.

The rest of the couples couldn’t quite believe what they were witnessing and commented on the tense atmosphere.

“F–k me that was heavy,” Erin noted.

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

While Jono says Clare is a great woman, he admits they just weren’t compatible.

Portrait of devotion: Queen Elizabeth and her Prince

After 68 years of marriage, and four children, it looks like the love is still alive with Queen Elizabeth and her Prince.

As Queen Elizabeth entered the House of Lords to deliver the Queen’s Speech last week, dressed in ermine and jewels, her husband, Prince Philip, quietly entered beside her and clasped her hand to help her down the stairs.

It was a portrait that defined the Queen and her Prince – Elizabeth shouldering her duties as monarch, and Philip standing beside her, in quiet but devoted support.

It is a love story that has been broadcast, photographed, and documented since their very first correspondence in 1934, but one that has remained private and protected. Since those letters in the 30s, a marriage was celebrated, as was the birth of four children, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, and 63 years as Queen and Consort.

And it was clear from their appearance today that Philip and his ‘Lilibet’ are still very much in love.

On the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, we take a walk down memory lane…

Holding her hand, Prince Philip gently guided his wife, Queen Elizabeth, into the House of Lords.

Wearing the crown jewels, and his military regalia, the pair looked very well matched.

After a string of love letters sent back and forth (which is how Prince Philip is rumoured to have won her heart), Elizabeth and her military sweetheart, Prince Philip of Denmark and Greece, became engaged.

Prince Philip abandoned his Danish and Greek princely titles and fell back on his military rank, Lieutenant, in order to marry the Princess Elizabeth.

Elizabeth and Philip were married on 20 November 1947 at Westminster Abbey. Their wedding took place at the end of the second world war and Elizabeth required ration coupons to buy the material of her dress.

Five years later, Princess Elizabeth’s father, George VI, died, and at the age of 25, became Queen of England.

Elizabeth and Philip had four children together, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

Lilibet is obviously still enamored by her Prince.

And she looks to stay that way.

Newborn left homeless after surrogacy feud

A baby born in Queensland last week was left homeless after a dispute between his biological parents and the surrogate who carried him.

Surrogate mother Alexa gave birth to a baby boy last week but the child spent four days in limbo because his biological parents refused to claim him, the ABC reports.

Alexa agreed to carry a child for the unnamed couple – who she is related to – after watching them struggle to conceive for several years.

But just weeks after Alexa conceived, she and the couple began arguing, at first over Alexa’s decision to reduce her dosage of prescribed progesterone because it was making her nauseous.

Alexa claims the biological mother became very anxious about her decision to lower her medication dosage and called often telling her she was going to have a miscarriage.

When a 12-week scan revealed the baby was healthy, the biological parents became even more distant and argumentative, according to Alexa. The mother reportedly told Alexa she wasn’t buying any baby supplies because she was sure the baby would be stillborn.

By the time Alexa was 16 weeks pregnant, the relationship had deteriorated to the point that she sought an abortion, only to be told it was too late.

When the baby was eventually born last week, Alexa claims the parents owed her $8300 in travel fees, medical costs and legal expenses, but they refused to pay, and refused to claim their child, leaving him homeless.

After a four-day stanf-off, the parents paid their debt and took custody of the child.
