A woman has been jailed after authorities found her home was full of dead and decomposing animals.

Following the grim discovery Tracey Tindall, 46, was sentenced to 18 weeks for 20 offences, in what prosecutors called one of the “most serious” cases of animal neglect on record.

It is believed three dogs, five cats and a bearded dragon were all found in Tindall’s Bradford home in the UK in November 2015.

While a “significant number” of the animals had died the ones who had managed to survived were in a “poor state”, Bradford Magistrates Court, West Yorkshire, heard.

RSPCA prosecutor Andrew Davidson said welfare inspectors were alerted to Tindall’s home, where they found two dead rabbits in an outdoor hutch, and a large Mastiff dog dead and chained to a kennel by its neck.

When Tindall was confronted by welfare inspectors she said she had been living with her mother who has Alzheimer’s but insisted she was visiting to care for the animals regularly.

However, when officers entered the home it was littered with faeces and there was no food or water available for the animals to live off.

Woody Allen still smitten after 20-years of marriage to Soon-Yi

Woody Allen says he’s made wife Soon-Yi’s “life better”.

Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn certainly didn’t have the most conventional start to a marriage and many would have predicted their union was doomed, but two decades after they wed Woody says they are more in love than ever.

The famed director generated controversy in the early 90s when it was revealed he was in a romantic relationship with Soon Yi, who was the adopted daughter of his ex-partner, Mia Farrow – a child whom he had helped raise.

“One of the great experiences of my life has been my wife,” Woody told The Hollywood Reporter (HWR) of his marriage to his Korean-born wife, who is 36 years his junior.

Allen told the publication: “She had a very, very difficult upbringing in Korea – she was an orphan on the streets, living out of trash cans and starving as a six-year-old. And she was picked up and put in an orphanage.

“I’ve been able to really make her life better. I provided her with enormous opportunities, and she has sparked to them. She’s educated herself and has tons of friends… and got a college degree and went to graduate school, and she has travelled all over with me now. She’s very sophisticated and has been to all the great capitals of Europe. She has just become a different person.

The Blue Valentine filmmaker certainly put a lot at stake to pursue his relationship with Soon-Yi. Woody and Mia never actually married so Pervin was never legally his stepdaughter, but he did have three other children with Farrow, all of whom he is now estranged. But in spite of all of that Woody says his marriage has created a “wonderful life”.

“The contributions I’ve made to [Soon-Yi’s] life have given me more pleasure than all my films,” Allen said.

Adding: “She’s a great companion and a great wife. She has given me a stable and wonderful home life and great companionship. I guess whenever you meet somebody and they’re the right person for you, there is a great emotional contribution they make to your life.”

While Woody believes Soon-Yi’s life has been remarkably bettered, the 80-year-old doesn’t feel as though he’s changed much over the years.

“I might be the same person I was when I was 20,” he told the HWR. “I seem to have the same habits, the same work habits, the same phobias, the same enjoyments. I don’t think I have changed much over the years at all.”

Prince Harry opens up about his plans for children

Prince Harry gives an intimate interview about his future plans for a family.

Prince Harry has said he has thought about having children, but he’s in no rush.

Speaking in an interview with PEOPLE the 31-year-old royal admitted that he’s thought about his future family plans, especially on his trips back and forth to Africa.

“There have been moments through life, especially when we do a tour abroad, when I think, ‘I’d love to have kids now …’,” Harry confessed.

But then he has moments that make him feel like he might not be ready.

“And then there are other times when I bury my head in the sand going, ‘All right, don’t need kids!’,” he smiled.

“There’s no rush. I think … I tell you what: There’s been times I’ve been put off having children … I’ve got a couple of mates and being around their children just brings me back down.”

Harry takes great delight in his role as uncle to Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s two children — two-year-old nephew Prince George and niece Princess Charlotte, who turned one on Monday.

“Nobody wants to be boring,” he quipped of his reputation as the “fun uncle.”

Right now, bachelor Harry seems to be entirely dedicated to his philanthropic passions which he says keep him feeling connected to his late mother, Princess Diana.

“All I want to do is make my mother incredibly proud, that’s all I’ve ever wanted to do,” he said in the exclusive interview.

He gave the interview just before leaving Kensington Palace for the Invictus Games in Florida and for a polo event to promote his own charity, Sentebale.

UNICEF ambassador Orlando Bloom visits refugees

Orlando Bloom visited the Gevgelija migrant transit camp in Macedonia on Tuesday, as part of his role as a goodwill UNICEF ambassador.
Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom visited children in need in conflict-ravaged Ukraine this week.

The UNICEF Goodwill ambassador has joined forces with the charity to help raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis.

“I met children like 11-year-old Liana who hid in the basement of their school for almost two weeks, in freezing conditions, without lighting or heat, while shelling devastated the classrooms above,” the actor explained said.

Last September the father-of-one also visited the Gevgelija migrant transit camp in Macedonia, as part of his role as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations’ Children’s Fund.

The father-of-one was snapped playing with the local kids as he toured the camp, which is based on the borders of Macedonia and Greece

It was clear that Orlando was moved by the camp residents, taking the time to chat several people who explained they were waiting to move to Western Europe.

The humanitarian also snapped a few selfies on his phones with the locals.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor learned about the heartbreaking conditions many of the migrants and refugees were living in.

During his visit, Orlando chatted to an older boy, who spoke of how he had fled the Syrian capital of Damascus to make the journey to Europe.

The 38-year-old was told about how Macedonia has become a key transit route in the Balkans with thousands of asylum seekers from Syria, Afghanistan and Somalia entering the country every day.

From there, they stop at the registration camps before making their way to other European countries.

“These children have travelled through one of the deadliest refugee and migrant routes in the world. I talked to children who endured terrifying journeys, often in extreme weather conditions and for many, walking in the only shoes and clothes they have,” the actor said through a statement from UNICEF.

“They are being shuttled from one authority to another, crossing numerous borders, uncertain of the risks ahead. If they arrive safely at their final destination, they still fear an uncertain future. We need to protect and support them,” he added.

‘It’s so hard to keep it a secret!’ Jackie talks about her bump!

Tuesday night’s episode of Seven Year Switch had us all thinking that explosive couple Jackie and Tim were dunzo, but it doesn’t look like that’s the case after all since an eagle – eyed NW reader reckons that not only are they together, but also preggers!

Yep, we hear Jackie and Tim were super loved up at Melbourne’s Filex Fitness Expo, last weekend, where Jackie’s baby bump caused quite a stir…

Our source reveals that “Everyone was congratulating them and she was telling them that it’s so hard to keep it a secret!” Awww, we love a happy ending!

So it looks as though Tim did some pretty fast talking once they got home from their TV love experiment which saw Jackie tell Tim it was over after finding out about the dice tattoo he got inked with his experimental partner Tallena.

“Well then, Tim and I are over,” Jackie told Tallena after finding out the tatt was real. “Done. If he wants to get a rise out of me that bad that he’s willing to get a tattoo with you, then yeah, he can get f***ed. I would never in a million years get a tattoo with someone else’s partner.”

And she’s not the only star of the show who appears to have a bun in the oven, after Cassie did little to hide her burgeoning bump on Tuesday night’s episode.

There must be something in the water!

A ‘ghostly apparition’ has appeared in a darkly lit corridor of a supposedly haunted hospital in the same spot a doctor allegedly took his own life.

In the video that was taken at the School Hospital Universitario in Honduras, stretchers are lined up in the hall, and a semi-transparent figure seems to pop its head out the doorway.

The video was posted to Facebook and has been watched over a million times, sending chills up people’s spines all over the world.

Many believe that the doctor’s spirit haunts patients there by flickering lights in their rooms.

Whether it’s a hoax or not, we’re still seriously creeped out by it.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a cute new pet!

The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed the royal family’s newest member: an adorable pet guinea pig!
Princess Charlotte

Duchess Catherine has unveiled the new addition to the royal family: a pet guinea pig called Marvin!

The mother of two explained the cute critter was recently bought by herself and Prince William as a gift for Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as she opened the new Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace on Wednesday.

Catherine had the kids at the Magic Garden enthralled with tales of her family pets.

While she was taking some time out to play with a group of children at the newly opened garden, Kate told one of the kids, a nine-year-old girl called Darcey, about the newest little royal.

“She said she had a hamster, and Charlotte really likes it because the whiskers always tickle her face,” Darcey explained.

The 34-year-old then regaled the children with tales of the hamster pets she had while she was growing up: two little friends called Salt and Pepper.

Little Charlotte adores feeling Marvin the hampster’s little whiskers tickling her face.

But how will this newest bundle of furry joy sit with the family’s existing pet Lupo?

The Cambridge family received the cocker spaniel as a rather unique wedding present from James Middleton after their April 2011 nuptials.

With both pets now vying for the little Prince and Princess’s attentions, there’s no doubt there will be a little bit of animal rivalry at the family’s country home Anmer Hall, in Norfolk!

See Prince William dish the dirt on how life has changed for Lupo since introducing children to the family. Post continues below after the video…

Meanwhile, children at the Magic Garden opening were awestruck to catch a glimpse of the stylish royal – once they knew who she was.

One little girl was spotted tugging on the sleeve of the chairman of Historic Royal Palaces, Rupert Gavin, and asking “Who’s that?” After Rupert revealed Catherine’s royal identity, the little girl’s eyes went wide, and she said “Ooh, are you the princess?”

Ever the woman of the people, the Duchess replied with a breezy, “Just call me Kate!”

We wonder how Ludo feels about the new royal pet!

And her royal duties didn’t stop with the garden opening.

Afterwards, the former Miss Middleton went on to attend a lunch reception at the Anna Freud Centre, a charity that supports children’s mental health, before she raced off to the National Portrait Gallery to view the photo of herself taken as part of a collaboration with British Vogue.

Madonna defends risqué Met Gala outfit

Madge has hit back at criticism over her dress choice, saying it was a political statement for gender equality.

Madonna has defended her risqué outfit choice for Tuesday’s Met Gala where her bum and breasts were only covered by sheer lace, calling a political statement in support of gender equality.

Many criticised her choice of the Givenchy dress, but Madge hit back in a lengthy Instagram post, saying: “We have fought and continue to fight for civil rights and gay rights around the world. When it comes to Women’s rights we are still in the dark ages.”

“My dress at the Met Ball was a political statement as well as a fashion statement.”

She added: “The fact that people actually believe a woman is not allowed to express her sexuality and be adventurous past a certain age is proof that we still live in an age-ist and sexist society.”

“I have never thought in a limited way and I’m not going to start. We cannot effect change unless we are willing to take risks By being fearless and By taking the road less traveled by. Thats how we change history.”

To be honest, we can’t say we’re surprised to have seen the pop singer so scantily clad – she is Madonna after all!

Bravo, Madonna. We should live in a world where you can wear whatever you want.
