The Big Freeze 2 was held before the Collingwood-Melbourne AFL game on the Queen’s Birthday, which aimed to raise much need funds for the Cure for MND Foundation.
Sam, Kochie and the rest of the gang all took turns as they slid down a massive frozen slide, plunging them straight into an ice pool at the MCG in a bid to freeze Motor Neuron Disease.
The event was created by former AFL player and coach Neale Daniher, who was diagnosed with the illness in 2013.
The 37-year-old Sunrise beauty decided to have some fun with the charity event, donning a ice blue Elsa costume from the Disney film Frozen.
And of course her daily side-kick, Kochie, showed his support by wearing the movie’s Olaf costume.

Following what seemed to be a traumatising swim; Sam took to Instagram to share her experience.
“I made it!!” she penned alongside her selfie.
The event was a huge hit, and has already raised close to $2 million.
Motor Neuron Disease is a progressive disease involving degeneration of the motor neurons and wasting of the muscles. With no nerves to activate them, muscles gradually weaken and waste. MND can affect a person’s ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.
It’s believed that in Australia alone, two people are diagnosed daily with MND and even more alarming, everyday two people die from the debilitating illness.
