Now that Madonna is on good terms with her son Rocco, the mother-son duo have even embarked on a trip together!

The 57-year-old star was joined by her 15-year-old son and her other children, Lourdes, 19, Mercy James, 10 and David Banda, 10, as she visited Mchinji, Malawi to perform charity work.

Madonna posed with all her children during a visit with locals in Africa on Monday.

On Monday, the MDNA singer shared a snap of herself with her family and locals along with the caption, “Sitting with Mama Sofie, We are Humbled!”

Rocco, who reunited with his mum a few weeks ago following months of dispute, seemed thrilled to be visiting the birth country of his siblings Mercy James and David Banda.

Madonna is thrilled to have her son come along on the trip!

Madonna shared a photo of the teen holding hands with the village’s children on Thursday.

“Squad [heart] Rocco at Home of Hope In Michingi,” she wrote.

It seems Madonna is having a blast bonding with her son again after months of living in different countries.

Rocco has spent most of this year living in the UK with his dad Guy Ritchie after a disagreement with Madonna in December.

Teens under the knife

Young people will face new obstacles before undergoing cosmetic surgery amid a surge in demand for celebrity-inspired procedures.
Cosmetic surgery warning for young people

She was a pretty, fit and healthy 26-year-old who appeared to have the world at her feet.

But like many young women, Lauren James had hang-ups about her body. So she decided to have liposuction to remove fat from her lower buttocks, thighs and knees.

Three days after the $8000 day procedure in Melbourne, she was dead.

Leaders in Australia’s medical profession have become increasingly concerned at the growing demand for cosmetic procedures from young people – and the “trivialisation” of surgery.

Celebrities, models and TV stars have helped make procedures like lip fillers and breast implants increasingly mainstream and socially acceptable in the past couple of decades.

And while deaths from cosmetic surgery are very rare, the risks of complications and the permanency of procedures are very real.

That’s prompted a new crackdown on the $1 billion a year industry, with particular emphasis on protecting teenagers from making impulsive decisions.

Under the Medical Board of Australia’s new guidelines – which come into force in October – young people aged under 18 will be forced to undergo a psychological assessment and a three-month cooling off period before being allowed to have breast implants, liposuction or a nose job.

Dr Joanna Flynn, chair of the Medical Board of Australia, told The Weekly the board was concerned about maturity, peer pressure and body image issues in young people seeking cosmetic surgery.

Simon Dal Zotto, who was Lauren James’ partner, had been among those who had been calling for tighter controls on the cosmetic surgery industry in Australia. He has described Lauren as “stunning” and “one of the kindest, most loveable people”.

In a similar tragedy to Lauren’s death from post-operative complications in 2007, 28-year-old ex-dancer Lauren Edgar died the following year after developing a bacterial infection and gangrene from her liposuction in Adelaide.

More recently, there have been a string of reported complications, botched procedures and misuse of local anaesthetic at cosmetic surgery clinics in recent years.

In January last year, 21-year-old Amy Rickhuss almost died when her heart stopped from anaesthetic complications during breast augmentation surgery in Sydney.

Dr Gazi Hussain, vice-president of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, told The Weekly cosmetic surgery was “almost a commodity now” and welcomed the new guidelines, which also affect adult patients.

American Ari Nagle has explained he has no plans to stop any time soon as he’s been “inundated” with requests from women all over the world.

“It started with just two families – a lesbian couple and a single woman,” he said during an interview on This Morning.

“The single woman was 40-something and her biological clock was ticking so she reached out to me for help.”

He did admit that he had been sued for child support but that he didn’t worry too much.

“We never have a romantic relationship afterwards but we become family in many ways,” he said.

“Sometimes I’m there for the delivery and sometimes on the birth certificate. It’s up to the mum.”

“Four of the children I’ve never met, yet some I’ll take on the weekends and see on special occasions.”

“I don’t turn anyone down very often. Sometimes I get women in their late 40s who want to try, so I try, as long as they are willing.”

Asked how long he’ll carry on for, Nagel added: “I’m 40 years old already and I don’t see myself doing it when I’m 50.”

“I don’t have a number, but I’m going to stop in the next few years.”

This is the fourth country Tom and Taylor have jetted to since their romance began just three weeks ago, just two weeks after the pop star’s 15-month relationship with Calvin Harris ended.

In the past month alone, the pair have been to Nashville, where Tom was introduced to Taylor’s parents, before flying across the pond to England, where Taylor met Tom’s mum.

They were then spotted in Rome, where they shared an intimate kiss atop the Colosseum in front of dozens of fans and photographers.

They were touring the ancient ruins of Rome just last week.

It’s not known how long Taylor will stay in Australia with her man, but we’re sure to see plenty more snaps of the couple!

Meanwhile, Calvin has done what Taylor is most famous for and written a breakup song to vent about their relationship.

TMZ reports that the song, titled Ole, features lyrics seemingly dissing Taylor.

We wonder what Taylor will think of her ex Calvin’s new diss track?

“I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend,” the lyrics go.

Another telling lyric, from Tom’s point of view, indicates Taylor cheated on Calvin with the British actor.

“You’ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell. Left him alone and you booked in a hotel,” Calvin writes.

Hotel slammed for sickening stunt

Tourists have threatened to boycott a Cyprus resort after staff staged a fake gun attack.

Tourists were terrified after entertainment staff at a resort in Cyprus staged a gun attack.

According to The Sun, employees burst into a restaurant wearing dark clothes and firing fake guns.

They were trying to promote a new casino at the First Choice Holiday Village Aliathon in Paphos, Cyprus, by appearing as “gangsters”.

This came just two days after the Istanbul airport terror attack where 45 people died, so naturally, emotions were running high.

People were furious at the tactless stunt and threatened to boycott the resort.

Bernard Heald, a 66-year-old English man, said: “It was in real bad taste after the events at Ataturk airport and shootings at other resorts … Totally disgusted, could have given someone a heart attack.”

Anne Mullen said: “It was the hotel staff trying to promote the casino night.”

“They came out of the kitchen area firing toy cap guns. Everyone in the restaurant was shocked and all saying do they not read the news?”

Seems they could really use a publicity team with integrity and compassion.
