They may have declined to attend the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, but Duchess Catherine, Prince William and Prince Harry still want to send their warmest regards.
The royal trio have recorded a special video message to the members of Team Great Britain.
Kensington Palace released the video message on their official Twitter account on Thursday.
The footage was to be a special encouragement to sportsmen and women competing, ahead of Friday’s official Opening Ceremony at Maracana Stadium.
In the footage, Harry, Kate and Wills reflect on the acheivements of British athletes at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Images of cheering fans, both young and old, are interspersed with shots of athletes competing and winning.
It also includes many shots of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrating, alongside Prince Harry.
“London 2012 saw this country come alive with a passion for sport. It saw people of all ages and from all walks of life join together to support Team GB,” Prince William says in a voice-over.
His brother Harry continues: “Each member of Team GB will have a unique journey, but they all share the same aim – to deliver the best performance they possibly can.”
Then it’s Kate’s turn: “London 2012 showcased the best of British sport, and we are all so excited to see what can be achieved in Rio.”
Prince Harry, Duchess Catherine and Prince William all briefly on camera to wish all those competing the best of luck.
All three young royals are big sports fans, but have decided not to attend the Olympics this year, reportedly over concerns about the deadly Zika virus.
Meanwhile Anne, The Princess Royal is representing her family at the event and on Thursday gathered with GB’s flag bearer, Andy Murray, and team GB athletes at British House in Rio, Brazil.
Posing for photos proved rather hilarious as tennis pro Andy kept accidentally covering Princess Anne’s face.
“We’re sure your racket handling skills are better than your flag bearing ones,” the Royal Family joked alongside a video of the funny moment.

Granny’s no-filter is hilarious – until it’s directed to you.
One Scottish granny is being labelled the most “savage nana” after telling her granddaughter – and the world – she’d be “stunning if she lost weight” on Facebook.
Chloe Gallacher, 19, uploaded a stunning selfie of herself on the social networking site – she had her hair and makeup done perfectly and was clearly expecting a few likes and some lovely comment from her friends but her 70-year-old grandmother Mary had other ideas.
Twenty minutes after Chloe uploaded the photo Mary commented with this stinging one liner:
“How stunning would you be if you lost weight xx”.
The “xx”… ouch!
Naturally somebody saw the brutal post and uploaded it on Twitter and many have been leaving comments about how they can relate it to their own granny’s honesty.
“This is our mums,” wrote one user.
Another wrote: “Imagine having this savage granny.”
Chatting to The Sun about the viral post, Chloe said: “She got quite upset because she thought people were taking it as if she was being nasty when that wasn’t the case.”
“I didn’t think anything of it, my nana’s always like that and doesn’t hold back, she’s some women but we wouldn’t have her any other way.”
Lesson: maybe think twice before you add your no nonsense nanny on Facebook.
Just in case we needed more proof what a hot body Orlando Bloom has.
The actor left nothing to the imagination when he was photographed paddle boarding TOTALLY naked alongside his girlfriend Katy Perry.
Despite her boyfriend parading around his birthday suit, the Firework singer neglected to go nude, instead sticking with her printed bandeau bikini.
Didn’t stop her from looking mighty please with her Orlando’s appearance, though!
Get the full lowdown on Orlando’s strip off in the video below. Post continues!

Pictures of the nude actor were censored, of course, but eagle eyed fans were quick to spot the fact that the Lord of the Rings star’s shadow was not.
The 39-year-old actor did actually begin their beach trip wearing board shorts, but ditched them early on for a skinny dip.
He clearly decided he preferred the free feeling, because he then enjoyed a spot of paddle boarding, kneeling and completely starkers, with Katy sitting on the front of the board.
Uncensored photos were published in the UK’s Mirror… which you can can see right here.
Many savvy internet users pointed out that, if he was trying to promote Katy’s new song Rise he was doing a mighty fine job!

We get it, when you’re Batman, sometimes you just can’t remember to keep your bat accessories in check.
Ben Affleck suffered a rather embarrassing wardrobe malfunction at the premiere of the latest movie in DC’s franchise, Suicide Squad.
After adjusting himself a few times on the red carpet, the Justice League star appeared to have forgotten to do something rather important… button up his pants.
The 43-year-old was seen walking briskly towards the after party, looking agitated, and pants obviously undone.
Fans and passers-by copped an eyeful of the Batman v Superman actor, who appeared to not notice the mishap.
Strangely, the star’s belt was done up, even though his pants were well and truly undone, leaving some spectators believing the pants might have actually broken. Which would explain Ben’s cranky expression.
When Dad is a superhero, you take advantage! Find out about the super cool thing Ben Affleck did for his son in the video below. Post continues.

“We are definitely a modern family,” the 44-year-old confessed.
She spoke in detail about her relationship with her ex in an interview with Today, including about the holiday to Europe that sparked those reconciliation rumours.
“Ben was working in London on Justice League and I felt like, ‘Well, the kids should have that experience,'” Jennifer explained.
“He and I are great friends and we just all went en masse. The kids and I had an amazing time, and he worked hard and got to join us for some. I want them to see everything’s OK.”
Jen explains how she and Ben are constantly putting their own feelings aside because “it has to be” about the kids.
“It has to be. You don’t have a choice,” Jennifer said. “It has to be.”
She said that the family are in a place right now we’re they’re “doing really well”.
Basketball, biffs and ballroom dancing! Thursday’s episode of The Bachelor was packed with drama.
Keira and Eliza locked horns in an epic smack-down which saw Eliza call Keira out over being ungrateful for time with Richie.
“I was feeling you were a bit ungrateful,” Eliza said when Keira returned home from a romantic solo date with Richie.
“Why would you say that? That’s ridiculous. I can’t believe you said that! You clearly don’t know me, next time be quiet. Why would you say that in this kind of moment when I’m feeling really good,” the blonde bombshell fumed.
In the end, Richie sent Marja and Sophie home. Woman’s Day caught up with the two ladies to talk all things Bachie!
Marja, 34, yoga instructor
What were your first impressions
It was really quite a blur. I remember thinking he looked quite handsome and thinking that I did the most talking. It was all very quick.
Were you happy to see it was Richie? And is he your type?
I was happy to see him. I didn’t watch him last season but seeing him for the first time, I thought he was handsome. But as we moved through the show, I realised Richie isn’t my type – we’re just not compatible.
Was there something missing?
First and foremost I think I’m after someone where we have chemistry. Chemistry is something you can build but with us it really wasn’t there. I think it fizzled. You could just tell. It just wasn’t there.
Were you disappointed to be sent home so early on?
I wasn’t upset because I honestly didn’t like him. I was upset to leave the show!
Would you have stayed on if you hadn’t been eliminated?
I think I would have, I’m of the mindset – everyone goes in for the intention of love. But if it is not there for you… there are also a lot of other reasons to be on the show. For me it was the experience and meeting new people! I always give everything a go!
What were your thoughts on the girls?
Some were very loud and some were quiet. Different people deal with pressure in all kinds of ways.
Are the girls the same as they are portrayed on the show?
I feel like it is real in the sense that is real reactions and emotions but it is not a real situation. I mean it is very weird and odd! The way you see the girls is real – they are playing off the drama. I was closet to Janey, Alex and Eliza – they’re all quite kooky and crazy.
Anyone you didn’t get on with?
There were a lot girls I wouldn’t be friends with if I wasn’t on the show, but got I along with all of them. We’d all cook for each other on Sundays!
Relive last night’s highlights in the player below. Post continues after the video…

Any secret annoying habits?
I napped a lot! So maybe I was the lazy one? Everyone joked that I was on a yoga retreat.
What’s it like on the Bachie set? We hear everyone is always eating!
We get to buy the food we want. The girls complain about the chocolate, but they order it! There was a book with a pen – and you write down what you want. I wanted to remain healthy and it felt like I was at home.
Who do think will win?
Alex, Nikki or Megan. They got a lot of time with him. You can tell with body language, just the amount of time he spent with them, he was keen on them.
Have you met anyone special?
I have met someone since the show! It is amazing but it is still early.
Sophie, 28, customer support manager
What were your first impressions of Richie?
He’s very handsome, really well dressed and well spoken. Actually, he had really great eye contact which is so important! I find that’s really rare these days in men. He is just a lovely genuine person.
Was Richie what you expected?
He’s exactly how I thought he’d be. I watched him on The Bachelorette and he’s 100% what we see!
Were you happy that is was him?
Yeah. It was nice to see a familiar face!
Did you think you’d go so early?
No one goes in knowing what to expect. I figured early on that I didn’t have a connection with him and I guess he felt that too. I’m really going to miss the girls but I was happy to go home to see my family.
Watch Richie hang out with Woman’s Day in the player below. Post continues…

What are the girls like?
The other girls all have beautiful qualities individually! There is a bit of drama but that has to be expected when you throw 22 women vying for one man. Obviously some ruffled feathers more than others. But I’ve made some lifelong friends. Nikki was my bestie in the house. I really like Rachel and Faith. Also Janey is so beautiful and innocent and Eliza is just so courageous.
Who do you think will win?
Nikki is my girl! I fell in love with her and I could just feel their chemistry.
Have you met anyone?
Still very single. I’ve been laying low – just focusing on family and friends.
A mother of six has opened up in a candid interview about sometimes ‘regretting’ having her twin sons.
Dublin woman Jeanne Measom spoke to The Sun about struggling to cope with the birth of her twin sons, Rowan and Jude, at 42.
“I love them—of course I do. But there were days when they were younger that I honestly regretted having them,” said Jeanne, “That might make me sound like a bad mum.”
“One night when they were 10 days old, I stood watching them both finally sleeping at the same time,” she told The Sun, “Instead of the warm fuzzy feeling of love and pride I’d felt with my other children regret burnt inside me. I asked myself what had I done.”
“Had I made the wrong choice in not terminating the pregnancy? I felt guilty for even thinking it.”
“I realised there was just no time for that same emotional attachment,” she said.
Continuing, the Jeanne revealed how she became very overwhelmed and reaching a breaking point as the twins grew older.
“Around their first birthday, I sat in the car with them, listening to both of them wailing and thinking I can’t do this any more. Staring at them in the rear-view mirror dark thoughts rushed though my mind: I could give them up for adoption, or I could kill us all…” she said, “They were just fleeting thoughts – thankfully. But I felt like I was drowning. I desperately needed help.”
Jeanne, now 51, revealed she is doing a lot better and denies that her confession makes her a ‘bad mother’.
“I’m an honest mother and the truth that no parent of multiples likes to admit is this: having twins is unrelentingly hard work.”
The internet isn’t very happy with actor Clint Eastwood’s latest comments about the US presidential race.
In an interview with Esquire, the 86-year-old took the time to defend Republican nominee Donald Trump’s actions during his campaign.
“He’s said a lot of dumb things,” said Eastwood, “So have all of them. Both sides. But everybody — the press and everybody’s going, ‘Oh, well, that’s racist,’ and they’re making a big hoodoo out of it. Just f—ing get over it. It’s a sad time in history.”
“Everybody’s walking on eggshells,” said Eastwood of the younger generation’s ‘sensitive’ reaction to Trump’s campaign, “We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist.”
When asked if he was willing to say whether he was voting for Trump or Clinton, Eastwood said, “I’d have to go for Trump … you know, ’cause she’s declared that she’s gonna follow in [President Barack] Obama’s footsteps. There’s been just too much funny business on both sides of the aisle.”
Of course, the internet—Twitter specifically—didn’t take to his sentiments.
Anyone who’s ever thrown a last-minute party (or had a Sunday night dinner with their parents) will know exactly how delicious a Viennetta cake is. The creamy classic, which has remained humbly unchanged since its initial release, has been the star of many a social gathering in Australia. Which is why Aussie fans of the Viennetta might find this news both exciting and distressing.
A few ice cream-fans around the world have unearthed images of a ‘single serve’ version of our favourite dessert—Viennetta on a stick.
See for yourself!
Unfortunately for us Aussies, Streets have “no plans” to bring this tasty and convenient treat to our shores. The above version was found in Sichuan, China, whilst the below was found in Malta:
Those who have been lucky enough to stumble across this rare and delicious ice cream report that it shares the same formula as the original and costs $2.95 AUD.
If you’re like us and are outraged at Australia’s exclusion from the Viennetta-on-a-stick circle, drop Unilever a note at their website.
