Taking to the social media site, Blake claimed he was only joking and labelled his posts from 2011 as “comedy.”
“Everyone knows comedy has been a major part of my career and it’s always been out there for anyone to see,” the country crooner tweeted.
“That said anyone that knows me also knows I have no tolerance for hate of any kind or form,” the 40-year-old told his 17.8 million followers on Wednesday afternoon.
“Can my humor at times be inappropriate? Yes. Hateful? Never. That said I deeply apologize to anyone who may have been offended.”
However some fans were underwhelmed with his apology.
“I’m so sorry, but that’s not comedy at all. Those were direct racist remarks. You’re only sorry they (the tweets) were found,” one user remarked.
“it’s now ‘comedy’ to declare someone gay by their coffee choice? Beyond immature…,” agreed another user.
But not everyone was offended.
“Nothing but love for you Blake. We know you didn’t mean any harm. Thanks for apologising to those offended,” another said.
Blake, who is currently dating Gwen Stefani, was apologising for his tweets from a few years back, which came back to haunt him earlier this week.
Screenshots of the tweets show Blake saying he wished “the d–khead in the next room would either shut up or learn some English so I would at least know what he’s planning to bomb!!”
While another tweet read, “Standing in line at a coffee shop in LA talking with the man in front of me. He orders a skinny caramel latte. I couldn’t tell he was gay!!!
Fans of The Voice shared their shock about Blake’s views.
One person admitted, “Obviously you’re not a role model,” while another voiced their shock, “How did these not cause an outrage earlier?”
Only time will tell if Blake actually learned anything from the controversy.
The Vietnamese government has agreed to ease its restrictions for the public to access to the Long Tan Cross memorial site but visitors must adhere to strict guidelines.
Earlier the Australian government voiced its disappointment with Vietnam’s last minute decision to cancel its commemoration ceremony at the 50th anniversary of the historic battle of Long Tan.
Veteran Affairs Minister Dan Tehan yesterday called the move a “kick in the guts”.
Vietnamese authorities say they decided to abandon the service because of local sensitivities.
“We have been working with the Vietnamese government for over 18 months towards making sure this commemoration ceremony took place in a low key, dignified and respectful way,” Mr Tehan said.
“For us to be given such short notice of the cancellation is, to put it very frank terms, a kick in the guts.”
But this morning the Federal Government’s travel site Smart Traveller tweeted that small groups would be allowed access to the site however the service was still cancelled.
The concession comes as Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull spoke to his Vietnamese counterpart overnight.
The PM reportedly asked Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to consider those veterans who had travelled to Long Tan in good faith.
Anyone travelling to the site are told they should not to wear medals – a directive which is consistent with past services.
The accomplished artist is a whopping 28 years older than the petite blonde; nearly twice her age!
Page Six first reported on the blossoming romance between the unlikely couple, claiming the pair were spotted “holding hands and snuggling” at a New York restaurant recently.
“It was obvious there was something going on,” an insider told the column.
“It looked like she was dining with her grandpa, but they were holding hands and snuggling.”
Meanwhile according to reports from Radar Online, her new beau is still married.
According to court papers obtained by Radar, he’s in the middle of a long and protracted divorce from his wife, Anna Condo.
Radar alleged the pair originally filed for divorce back in May 2015 and were unable to reach an amicable settlement so they took the case to court.

She was tipped to be one of the front-runners of the competition, but last night Megan left the Bachelor mansion on her own accord.
Taking to Instagram shortly after the dramatic moment of her refusing Richie’s rose aired, Megan thanked everyone for their support.
“Thank you everyone for watching. Richie is a great guy who will I’m sure find his ‘Cool Banana’. As for me, I have met some wonderful, strong women who basically pull the piss out of me constantly and I love them for it.
“I’m glad I did the Bachelor and I’m glad I left. Everything is in its right place. Now. Manflesh, where are ya,” Megan mused alongside a photo of her with fellow Bachelor contestants Tiffany and Aimee.
Woman’s Day caught up with Megan and Georgia to talk about their experience on the show.
Megan Marx, 27, health promotions officer
What were your first impressions of Richie?
I thought he was very good-looking and very easy to talk to.
Did Richie give you any indication of what kind of girls he likes? What did he think about you?
Yes he said that he likes girls that are quite adventurous and genuine. He told me that I seemed like I had a lot of qualities that he is looking for and that I made him very comfortable.
What are your feelings towards Richie at this point?
I think that he is a wonderful guy and I really hope that he finds love.
Is there anything about you that you wished Richie had got to know or got to know differently?
Not really, I was open while I was there. I didn’t necessarily give him everything but I prefer it to be that way.
If you had your time over in the house, would you do anything differently?
No regrets!
What was your favourite moment in the Bachelor experience?
My single date, I had a really good time dangling over the cliff, it was fantastic!
What would you say was your lowest moment on the show?
Probably weirdly enough the first cocktail party, I felt a little all over the place, it was a lot to deal with.
Is there anyone from the show you’re happy to say goodbye to and why?
No, I got along with everybody and had a really good time with them all.
What’s next for you out in the real world?
I haven’t gotten to that point yet of thinking about what is next. For me falling love was the point so I’m just going to get on with real life.
Do you still believe in love?
Definitely!
Who do you think is going to win?
I think Nikki or Alex will win. I think Richie really digs them.
Georgia Tripos, 24, artist
How do you feel about Richie since leaving the show?
In hindsight, we made good mates and had a good laugh, I don’t think the feelings were any deeper than that.
Do you think he got to know you well?
I just wish Richie had asked me more about who I am, we never got past surface conversation.
What was your stand-out moment from the show?
Probably the group date where we had to do all the Olympic stuff. It was the funniest day.
What would you say was your lowest moment on the show?
Towards the end when I knew that I wasn’t any more attracted to him than just friends, figuring out what I was going to do.
Who was your best friend in the house?
I got a long well with everyone but would say Olena. We got each other, we didn’t have to talk all the time but we had a mutual love and respect for each other.

Is there anyone from the show you’re happy to say goodbye to and why?
By 5 weeks I was happy to say bye to all of them! It’s not normal to be in cooped in a house with chicks that long.
What’s next for you?
Just working establishing my art and networking through that. I have always loved acting so I would like to explore that further. I did acting for 10 years so I would love to look into that again.
Do you still believe in love?
Of course! I believe in giving love to everyone every day and loving yourself and I believe every person you met is an experience of that giving and receiving.
Law enforcement authorities may be powerless to shut down an online chat forum distributing hundreds of graphic images of non-consenting schoolgirls and women across the country, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Students at more than 30 state and private schools in NSW have been caught up in the pornography ring which sees men and boys trade images of images of women they are “tracking” – one user even offered 300 nudes photos in return for a lewd picture of one girl he was interested in.
Detectives from the Sex Crimes Squad’s child exploitation internet unit said yesterday they were liaising with local and international authorities but have not been successful in bringing down the foreign-based website.
Police urge anyone who believed their photo had been posted to the site to contact police.
This is a list of the NSW Schools identified on the site:
You wouldn’t think it by watching his goofy, happy-go-lucky persona on the hit show Friends, but David Schwimmer says acting in the show nearly ruined him.
The actor revealed his brush with the dark side of his fame during a podcast interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
The 49-year-old actor revealed to the publication that the fame associated with the role really hit him hard.
“It was pretty jarring and it messed with my relationship to other people in a way that took years, I think, for me to kind of adjust to and become comfortable with,” he confessed.
He explained that it also impacted upon his ability to act and create new characters.
“As an actor, the way I was trained, my job was to observe life and to observe other people, and so I used to walk around with my head up, and really engaged and watching people,” he said.
“The effect of celebrity was the absolute opposite,” he continued. “It made me want to hide under a baseball cap, not be seen.”
The Friends cast reunited for a special occasion and it was glorious. Watch the best bits in the video below.

He continued: “And I realized after a while that I was no longer watching people; I was trying to hide.
“So I was trying to figure out: How do I be an actor in this new world, in this new situation? How do I do my job? So that was tricky.”
Even after the show finished, he was still concerned that his image as the lovable, goofy Ross would follow him everywhere.
The actor says he did a number of theatre productions and smaller movies to try to escape it all.
But even after his star turn in the award-winning series Band of Brothers, David said he still thought some people “will just see Ross in World War II”.
Meanwhile the actor recently starred as Robert Kardashian in the TV movie The People vs O.J. Simpson and says he had no idea who Robert was before playing him!
He says having long chats with the man’s former wife Kris Jenner “was the single most helpful thing” in preparing him for the role.
“There were a couple of clues she gave me,” David said. “[Kardashian] had a crisis of faith.”

In the time it takes you to read this sentence, one Australian will need a lifesaving blood donation.
Every 24 seconds, someone in need will require your help by the means of a blood donation to survive, and coming to their rescue has never been easier.
1 in 3 Aussies will need blood donation in their lifetime, but sadly, 1 out of 30 donates, we were shocked to say the least.
But when we learnt just how easy it is to become a silent superhero, well we booked an appointment!
If you’ve always put donating blood at the bottom of your to-do list, here are five very important reasons why you should fast-track that item to the very top.
1. Donating blood is good for you
Recent research has discovered that donating blood regularly can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease.
According to a study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, those who donate bi-yearly were 88% less likely to suffer a heart attack due to the lowering of iron levels in the body.
2. Your blood can be used up to 22 different ways
Over one third of all donations will go towards treating someone with cancer, but you might be surprised to discover that your blood can be made into 22 different medical treatments.
From helping new mothers get through birth, to a patient undergoing open heart surgery.
3. It’s quick and easy
One hour from walking through the door, and you will be back in the fresh air will a proud smile on your face.
Of course, the actual donating process only takes 5-10 minutes, but your appointment will include a quick interview, a blood pressure check and a haemoglobin test.
After donating, you will enjoy a drink and a snack while you rest and think about all the lives you’re saving.
4. It is safe and free to give blood
In case you have any concerns about your own safety, the Australian Red Cross Blood Service is renowned as one of the safest blood suppliers across the globe.
A staff member will keep a close eye on you throughout the process and a donation of 470mL is less than 10% of the average human’s total blood volume, so you should feel little to no side effects other than an immense feeling of satisfaction and joy.
5. You will be alerted when you save a life
A new initiate from The Australian Red Cross will send donors a text message the moment their blood is being used in hospitals.
Imagine feeling your phone buzz on a dreary old Monday, and looking down to discover that the hour you spent giving blood last week, has now saved the life of someone in need.
If that doesn’t put a smile on your dial, nothing will!
