Looks like Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift’s relationship could have reached its first big hurdle.
According to a new report from Us Weekly, the couple had an explosive argument recently which spiraled out of control.
A source close to the pair revealed that both Tom and Taylor are fed up with being apart so much of the time.
“They weren’t spending as much time together,” an insider told the publication.
Taylor spends a lot of time alone while Tom is filming, according to reports.
It was a rude shock to Taylor – who had been inseparable from her new man in the first heady weeks of their new union – when Tom had to go back to work.
The Love Story singer reportedly couldn’t reconcile the man who spent weeks with her kissing in Rhode Island, introducing her to his parents in England, touring Rome and escorting her to Australia, with the man who suddenly had no time to pencil her in once filming started.
Meanwhile, Tom is running ragged between seeing Taylor and travelling back to Australia for filming.
The 35-year-old actor is currently in Brisbane, Australia, filming Thor: Ragnarok.
“There was so much going on so it was hard making their schedules work,” says the insider, “and they were upset they couldn’t see each other.”

It’s a far cry from them being attached at the hip during the first few weeks of their courtship.
But while Tay-Tay is apparently still stewing over their tiff, Tom seems to have shaken it off.
He made time to visit his 26-year-old love in Rhode Island while on a filming break.
“Tom is busier than her right now, but they are making it work,” the source tells US Weekly.
