The first time a mother meets her newborn child is always special and intimate, and this captured moment is no exception.
A video has been shared of when mother, Jessica, was first introduced to her 10-week-premature son, Hugo.
Little Hugo was delivered by C-section and immediately taken to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to be monitored.
Jessica didn’t get to hold her baby boy till two and half days later, and when she did, the heart-warming, teary moment was captured on film and uploaded to the Love What Matters Facebook page.
The post – which has been viewed 6.9 million times – is captioned: “I hope that this video can show people that love is the most important thing in anyone’s life.”
