Hold on to your hats, ladies. Producers of The Bachelor Australia have gone off-script and let Matty Johnson enjoy an overnight date with one of his girls!
While the US version of the dating show has the intimate fantasy suite dates, where the Bachelor and Bachelorette are able to take their top three behind closed doors, our homegrown offering has shied away from any such action… until now.

Next week Matty, 31, and a lucky lady are off to a romantic retreat, and if that’s not exciting enough, the girl in question will be on her second single date.
Love coach Belinda Rygier, who left the mansion last week, says one hopeful has caught the marketing manager’s attention.
“Matty doesn’t have a poker face at all… I saw him look at Florence one night in her dress, like, ‘Wowee!’ His eyes dropped to the floor. There’s sexual chemistry there,” she reveals.
Sizzling attraction aside, Matty himself tells OK! that fantasy suite dates aren’t his style.
“I think it’s a good call [not to have them],” he shares.
“I don’t think it’s needed to find out who you end up with.”
Either way, it’s going to be one juicy episode – if not for the romance, then at least for the fallout when the girls left behind find out about it.
So who’s the lucky lady?
Only a few hopefuls have been on single dates so far, so whoever Matty takes on a second (all-nighter, if they wish!) date will stand out as a fave.
